'We stayed in Suite Luna at Wantara. The pics were very accurate, the suite was exceptionally clean, the outdoor areas were a quiet oasis in the city, and the gated entrance felt very secure. We enjoyed the bakery at the top of the street and the dining suggestions from Marcelo. It was only a short walk 10 mins walk to old town or a $2.00 cab ride. Cheers, David & JoAnne'

'The property was ideal and as described. The only things we could have used was a fan and more mosquito spray! We were walking distance to the butterfly garden which was spectacular as well as a chairlift going up the mountain for a waterfall tour. 'We loved our stay at the treehouse! Such a neat place. Literally has trees growing through it. Slightly challenging to find, but Filipe was so wonderful with getting us there and really gave us so much extra help! What a kind and super helpful host. 'Manuela is so friendly, accomodating & helpful! We enjoyed a few walks into Mindo center from the location & even from Mariposa Butterfly back. It feels safe, convenient & authentic. We enjoyed some lemongrass tea from the garden (on invitation to use the garden fruit & herbs) The Yumbosa Chocolate tour in town is a treat as well. Thank you!'

'We had a wonderful stay at Casa Magica. Maria, the in-house cook, made many delicious and authentic Ecuadorian dishes including Guatita (we requested) which was unusual and excellent. Carmen was an ever attentive housekeeper, keeping the fire going in the living room on the colder nights! 'From the moment we walked through the doors at Wantara Suites we felt like we were home!! It’s close enough to everything (or a 10 minute taxi ride) but yet it feels like you’re staying in a cottage surrounded by a beautiful garden. I seriously can’t say enough about this property!!
