'This is a great house if you’re visiting either university in town. 3 to 5 minutes from either one. It was clean, well appointed, and nicely decorated! Highly recommend! My only suggestion would be mirrors in the bedrooms for multiple people getting ready at the same time'

'You could not ask for more beautiful place on the lake with walking paths and privacy. The accommodations for enjoying the outdoor space was great. The cabin was well stocked and comfortable. We enjoyed kayaking and fishing. We caught several small fish but we eventually found some large Crappies bass, and catfish. It was one week of total relaxation and heaven.'

'The cabin was a great get away from the town. Very remote and peaceful cabin. Very clean. Could have used some brighter lighting. It was difficult to play games at the kitchen table after sunset. Thank you!!!'

'This "Little Blue Cottage" is wonderful--so much so that after our first stay in June, we re-booked in July on our trip back home. Tastefully decorated with all the creature comforts. Kitchen is great with a nice Keurig coffee maker with pods and creamers. Erica has done an excellent job managing this. She was always available for my questions and was great getting back to me. Next time we are in Kirksville, we will book our trip around the availability of this cottage!!'

'The property is very well kept up, you get a little family farm feel, we had a great time sitting on the deck watching the fish feeding a couple of friendly cats joind us for just a few minutes. We spent most of our time on lake Rathbun fishing and enjoying the lake life.'

'This house was perfect for my family to stay in. Our family was having a reunion in Thousand Hills State Park and this was just a short drive away. I SO appreciated that there were a few little toys for my kids to play with. The house had everything we needed and was very clean. Would definitely recommend! '

'I never made it to the property. I was on my way to a funeral and got stuck in Chicago. These people have a big heart and actually helped me with a refund even though they didn’t have too. It speaks volumes on actually caring of others. I would highly recommend any of there properties.'
