'De locatie is absoluut prachtig. Tussen de heuvels en weilanden in, maar op rijafstand van alle belangrijke voorzieningen en mooie plekjes om te bezoeken. We hadden onze hond ook mee en die heeft naar hartenlust kunnen rennen. Het huisje was schoon, netjes en de jacuzzi een absoluut pluspunt. Ook de aanwezige bbq heeft gezorgd voor heerlijke maaltijden. De eigenaresse en haar familie doen er alles aan om je verblijf zo fijn mogelijk te maken, geven veel informatie en zijn super gastvrij. 'Really cosy little cotage with a beautiful view. '

'Check in was chaos due to staff shortages. Some people booking were waiting hours after check in time for their caravan to be available. Caravan beds were awful. Didn't sleep well during the stay at all. Caravan carpet and upholstery all needed a deep clean. Looked dirty for so early on in the season. Left a day early as had enough.'

'Lovely 1st floor flat, very close to the beach with easy beach access which was what we wanted. The flat is well equipped, especially the kitchen, and we were very happy there was a large fan keeping us cool as it was a hot week! The beds are nice and comfortable, bathroom is large and modern, living room has digital tv and wifi. The host was easy to communicate with and left lots of DVD's to watch if we wanted. 'We were celebrating my wife’s 70th birthday, and wanted comfortable and special accommodation for family members and friends. We also wanted to be able to enjoy a grand meal together for up to 14 of us. Compton House was perfect for us - a very unusual and lovely property. Our host was very responsive and very helpful in every way. Thank you so much Patricia, we really enjoyed our stay in your beautiful house.'

'Perfect central location to visit Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, the seaside and Bath. The accommodation was extremely well maintained and presented. A quiet location situated within a riding school, so perfect for those with an interest in horses but not affected by it being a working stable. 'We really enjoyed our short stay at the Carthouse. It's a lovely property in Axbridge, with Cheddar Gorge within easy reach. Communication with Val was excellent and also waited on the side of the road to show us the entrance to the side road. The Carthouse was spotlessly clean and Val had left several thoughtful items to get us started including bread, milk, wine and cider! Thank you Val, it was much appreciated. We'd have no hesitation in recommending this lovely property.'

The 2nd floor was great, with our own bath room, but our adult children, who slept on the 1st floor, had some sleeping problems with the springs in the matrasses.
