'The sunflower mushroom house is very cozy and quaint in a pretty country setting. The drive from town is more like 20min with the stoplights and roads to get there but it was just fine for us coming for KU graduation. The parking is interesting it would be nice for the driveway to extend to the actual rental home and not stop in front of the run down home in front of the rental. Overall we would recommend the home for your trip to Lawrence '

'Stay was great, nice, safe neighborhood and a well remodeled stay with great accommodations for pets, the only issue was a new AC system was installed and had issues cooling the house but the owner addressed it with a partial refund following the stay.'

'The host Deb was very responsive and helpful with check-in. The house was clean when we arrived. There were also fresh baked cookies for us. We were in town for a wedding and needed an early check in for changing prior to our event, the host was very accommodating. ***One thing for the host to check out is a possible clogged plumbing vent as there is noise in the kitchen sink after flushing the downstairs toilet.'

'The rental worked well for us. Loved having all the beds since we had a range of ages. It was easy to find and the neighborhood was quiet. The only down side was the lack of air movement in the bedrooms (only one has a working ceiling fan). '
