'What an incredible place. This property sits up on a hill with the most beautiful ocean views just waking up to that every morning was something special. The fire pit and hot tub were absolute game-changers after long work weeks. Sitting out there under the stars, listening to the wood crackling in the fire, with the night forest sounds of owls, birds, and insects all around… it completely melts the stress away. Feels like the whole world slows down. The property itself is well maintained and...

'Facilities were fantastic ... some of the best on our 3-week trip. Highlight was the cook to order breakfast (included in room rate), along with safe, basement parking and 24-hour coffee.'

'We were checked into the wrong room by the front desk person. I'm not sure how that happened given they checked my ID at the desk. At 9PM someone tried to get in our room. Thankfully we had the second lock on it. We then had to switch rooms. Otherwise, standard hotel breakfast and room is clean plus free parking. Housekeeping is only every 3 days for multinight stays. The area around the hotel is not great. I wouldn't walk alone at night and it's a 20 minute walk to most things in the...

'Fine modernised hotel at walking distance from the citycenter but somewhat isolated near the harbour. Fine service, well trained staff, good breakfast. Less than 10 minutes from the ferry to Digby which was very convenient given the rather early daily departure.'

'The best stocked breakfast I've ever had at a similarly priced hotel'

'I was very dissatisfied with the cleaning staff, our room was not cleaned no were we given clean towels, it was claimed that at 10:00 am the sign was on the door, however we were having breakfast, why would there not be a second walk by because breakfast ended at 10:00 and we went back to get our stuff for the day and took off the sign. Very disappointed!'

'Er wordt ontbijt aangeboden, meer een Canadees ontbijt. Jammer van plastic bestek met uiteraard de wegwerpcups. Direct aan een drukke weg, wat in de nacht zeker meevalt. De kamer is gigantisch groot. Ontbijt in een weekend of fst dag kun je niet gebruiken als je met de ferry van 8.00 gaat, omdat je 1 uur tevoren daar moet zijn. Het ontbijt is dan niet om 6, maar vanaf 7 beschikbaar. '

'Pros: Decent, serviceable clean accommodation. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Cons: Non-smoking room smelled like smoke. Facility could use some TLC and upgrades here and there.'

'The ambiance of the hotel was positive the moment we stepped into the lobby. Personnel asked if we needed anything and be sure to let them know if there was anything.'

'Erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam, zeer mooi verblijf. '

'There is no bathroom inside the unit. You have to walk down a hill. Enter a code and take stairs up into the home owners kitchen to use their bathroom. Which was not clean and hair on the toilet seat and floor. This WAS NOT listed on the main page when booking! Shame on you for misleading this listing! Please add “No Bathroom” to the title. Would not recommend. 👎👎👎'

'Fabulous stay'

'Ruime en schone studio met keuken, zithoek en groot bed. Prachtig gemeubileerd in de stijl van het karakteristieke oude huis. Erg fijn dat er een wasmachine en droger zijn voor gasten, met gratis wasstrips.'

'Great spot- small business altenative to a hogh priced hotel. Very helpful staff.'
