'This is a lovely old fashioned-feeling, quirky hotel with a great atmosphere. It is in a great location in the heart of Totnes.
Our room was spacious and comfortable.
We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and all our meals were tasty with decent portions.
The staff members, without exception, were cheerful, helpful and welcoming.
Parking is tight with there being only a small car park so other parking options may need to be considered before arrival.'

'We stayed 2 nights. Good sized room/bathroom, cozy and very clean. Breakfast served at the table, good choice. We didn’t use the restaurant but it was fully booked the first night and the menu had a good choice. Within walking distance of the center and the ferry’s. Plenty of things to see and do in the area. 'Excellent location for walking the moors. Noisy road if on the ‘hill view’ side.
Very dated inside.
Room very grubby and needs a makeover.
Staff lovely and polite. Only 2 people I saw, chef and the young man who did everything else.
Parking great. Plenty of it.
The park literally on your door step.'
