'We had a great stay and were very happy with everything at this property. When we arrived, the pool was closed for maintenance until 9 p.m., but the owner was very accommodating and offered us a late check-out to make up for the inconvenience. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We truly appreciated the hospitality and would definitely stay here again.'

'My stay at the Cottages at Laurel Brooke was wonderful. I wasn't in the cottage 10 minutes and I found myself taking pictures of the whole place (down to the Sumatra Coffee pods I love and drink at home) and texting them to my wife to brag on the place. My entire 4 day weekend stay was peaceful and incredibly comfortable. The pillowtop bed was fantastic! I am disabled, have a $5k bed at home, and NEVER get good sleep in a hotel. I travel with my own $300 mattress topper anytime I travel by car....

'Our family gathering included 19 adults and 8 children ages 5 & under. Our parents once had a home on Lake Jackson, so this was a trip of memories for all of us. This home provided ample gathering space inside, and the pool proved a great place for outside gathering. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. The kitchen had plenty of space for cooking and most of the utensils we needed. We noted several previous guests had suggested we bring our own sharp knives and disposable dining utensils...

"the hotel is dirty, the rooms are not clean (particularly bathroom), the showers were awful, the personnel unfriendly, the airco makes the noise of 20 heavy duty trucks rumbling on a parking lot. Not recommendable. The only advantage is that it is relatively cheap and relatively close to the airport. Disadvantage, the promised free shuttle goes 2x/hour and never shows up when you need it. Better take a taxi to prevent your own bad mood. I would not choose this hotel again ."
