'This was perfect! We wanted to get away from the city and unwind with our teenage son and two dogs. The two dogs had been arranged ahead of time with the owner’s permission.The cottage was clean. It was well equipped with all the kitchen items you might need. There was a K-cup machine, a regular coffee pot, a dishwasher, a full-sized fridge, a range, a microwave, and an oven. 'The house is lovely, with a kitchen dreams are made of — great for cooking, conversing, and eating. Tons of space, everything you could possibly need to cook or bake, and plenty of storage in the cabinets and pantry for all your snacks and ingredients.The fire pit in the front yard was perfect for roasting marshmallows (the provided camp chairs and corn hole set made it even better), and the picnic table next to the grill was great for sitting outside while the burgers were on. 'My husband and I stayed here on our way back to Long Island after a family wedding. The house was very clean and just right for the two of us. A little hint going forward, pick up any food you need at LaPlanta. There are only small markets close to the house and are quite pricey. If you are looking for a relaxing leave the world behind place to stay, this is the place for you.'

'The cottage was perfect for my husband and I. It was clean, cozy and a perfect location with the dock. We were able to bring our boat, fish, and crab. It was incredibly relaxing! The neighbors were extremely nice and very helpful!'

'It was a nice get away for our wedding anniversary. We were able to bring our dogs and use the private strip of beach a couple of cottages away. This was a great quiet trip. The only thing that could have been better is the AC in the cottage. A window unit is provided but with 90 temps it couldn’t keep up.'

'We loved our stay at Boyce Cottage! The location is gorgeous. You can easily access Warsaw, Lewisetta Marina, Montrose, and more. The house is really comfortable with tons of extras like kayaks, a canoe, games, grill, and more. The kitchen has all the tools and equipment you need. The owner is super responsive and helpful. We will definitely return.'

'We had a nice quiet week in this adorable and clean home just relaxing in the pool and spending time in the kayaks. We ventured out for some yummy Mexican food for dinner, ice cream in Reedville, and the nearby cafe to try their cappuccino and breakfasts but otherwise spent a nice family week playing games and swimming. 'I booked this house for the property, the backyard, the dock, and it didn't disappoint. It's also about 20 mins from the main town (Cambridge) which was exactly what we wanted - a break from crowds and the bustle. We had such a relaxing few days just reading, fishing from the dock, and kayaking. We were four people, but this would easily fit two families. A wonderful stay overall.'

'This is our second time staying with this host (we stayed at Lazy Crab next door last summer). Both houses are great for families with kids and dogs. Blue crab has the advantage of 2 bathrooms , which was helpful after the beach. The house has a couple stairs between living room and bedrooms and kitchen. Our toddler enjoyed the stairs but depending on the age of kids, this might be a consideration to choose Lazy Crab instead. Danielle was very quick to respond when we had questions. The Bakist...

'We had a great time hiking up the shore of the bay, watching the fireworks, eating smores in the fire pit and going to a nearby vineyard. House had everything we needed for a great holiday weekend.'
