'The property is a fully equipped bungalow style home on a big piece of land. The only noise is the animals flying, crawling or walking around. So quite. The single track can be a challenge with oncoming traffic and the lack of indication that someone is approaching. Some nice conversations with the owner and additional supplies of towels or (bed / kitchen) linnen. Overall a nice starting point to explore the surrounding area from Fort William (with Ben Nevis mountain), Glencoe, Falkirk...

'The property was in a lovely location and handy for local amenities! Very quiet and lovely to sit outside and listen to the bagpipes on a morning! The only down side was the drive down to the property and the potholes if they were filled in it would have been a much easier drive in and out. '

'Came here with my family to celebrate my 60th birthday. Communication with the owner was excellent and check in accommodated us arriving early.There was everything and more on offer. We were pleasantly surprised at how well the kitchen was stocked with everything you could ask for.the selection of games kept everyone entertained. And the gift of chocolates and wine gave that extra special.touch...would definitely recommend and return.'

'Such a beautiful location and cottage. Stayed in the Oak 2 Bed cottage and this was a home from home. They think of everything (including sachets of condiments). This stay was perfect for me, my partner and our 9 month old baby. The bedrooms are so spacious so plenty of room for a travel cot in the main bedroom with you or the 2nd bedroom. Waking up and opening the curtains to the views and the sheep was fantastic. We would definitely be going back.'

'Cannot fault the accommodation or the owner, both first class. Well located property for nearby walks, restaurant and pub. Railway station also close by for trains to Stirling , Edinburgh, Glasgow , Perth , plus many other locations. Dunblane is a quiet peaceful place. Just returned , and already looking at our diary for a return visit.'

'Leuk huisje in het centrum waar je prima zelf kunt koken. Klein tuintje waar je kunt zitten. Grappig steegje waar het huisje in staat. We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad 😀'

'Als je Stirling wilt bekijken, is dit een plek waar je wilt overnachten. Het enige nadeel is dat het qua loopafstand (restaurant) ver van het centrum is.'

'We hebben een fantastische week gehad in het huisje en omgeving. Mooie omgeving, de natuur, de rust, maar ook het gebied om het plaatsje Killin heen. Genoeg activiteiten. Het huisje was perfect, open haard, vers water uit de bergen. Alles was aanwezig in het huisje, en.als er iets niet was, hadden snel en goed contact met de eigenaars Goed voor elkaar! 'Great location walking distance from train station, (10min) walking distance to Stirling Castle (10min) walking distance from Wallace Monument (30min) and and across street from large Tesco. Very comfortable flat lots of room and safe neighborhood.'

'Lots of good things to say about this place. The history of it being a stable - charming. The smell of lavender planted near the entrance - charming. The sound of sheep bleating if you crack one of the many the windows - charming. Church and old cemetery next door - charming. Young deer visits daily just outside the dining/living area - charming. I docked one star on cleanliness because I found a pacifier under one of the beds and I know they allow dogs but the kitchen smelled like dog -less...

'Perfect setting for a celebration weekend for all our family. We cooked our meals and sat around the super size dining table in amazing surroundings. We went for walks as we were lucky to have good weather in March. One of us went cold water swimming!! (Very brave) We played family games, had a pool tournament, celebrated St Patrick's day (we're Scottish, any excuse to celebrate) The Lodge is fully equipped we didn't want for anything We would highly recommend Stronachlachar Lodge and hopefully...

'Nice house which is the perfect base to our Scottish adventure. Rosie and Dave are supernice and helpful. The jacuzzi is very welcome after a trip through nature. We loved our stay. If you use Google maps just navigate to Back Borland Holiday Cottages and it will bring you to the front door.'
