'The Chesapeake Mansion was even better than it looks on the VRBO listing. Huge house but still managed to feel warm and inviting, never cold or stand-offish. 'This is a beautiful historic property and the perfect setting for any escape. From the picturesque waterfront, to the charm of a historic home, this was truly a place to relax and enjoy the beauty of St. Michael’s. Our dogs loved the dock and swimming in Miles Bay, my teen and her friend enjoyed grabbing some sun on the decks. Peaceful sunsets with my husband and plenty of space to host a crab feast; or sneak into town for a meal at Ruse - this spot has it all. We can’t wait to come back!'

'We had grandparents (75yr), parents (50yr), young adults and teenagers (17-21) and a dog. Everyone had something to do and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We did canoeing, swimming, boarding, fishing, crabbing, biking, sunbathing, we had S’mores, watched marvelous sunset, played card games. 'The Bay Break is such a unique property, and communication with the host was superb! We were so impressed with all of the details that went into this property like toiletries, plenty of clean towels, and kitchen basics. Really incredible. The only reason for 4/5 stars on cleanliness is that perhaps the doors were open from a lot with previous tenants because there were so many bugs on the first floor of the house!Overall, any guest would be lucky to stay at this property! '

'We had a wonderful time staying at your farmhouse! We found it easy to navigate to and the house is as charming as ever. We really enjoyed the private pool during the day and walking down to the deep water dock to take in the picturesque scenery in the evenings. Would absolutely stay here again.'
