'It is definitely not a hotel facility. Toilet was broken(someone already used the toilet but it was broken so you guess what happened), shower was completely broken, no mosquito net, and no toiletries. No internet, didn't get breakfast. They charged $20USD for oneway pick up service which is more than their room charge. And when i complained to manager he was yelling at me for me to complaining so much. I can't believe you guys booked me this hotel. It was most horrible nightmare hotel ever...

'Good stay at the Slipway hotel as usual. Despite the remodeling ongoing on 1st floor of the hotel, no issues. The internet wifi is weak (either no connection or very limited bandwidth) - this needs some improvement to meet the 2018 standards ! Staff are all stars and very welcoming. The Slipway area is a pleasant place to stay. '

'I was just coming off a tour and had an extra night to spend in Arusha. Rather than spend the night in the tour hotel I decided to try Mc-Elly's for about 4x LESS the price. The area in the daytime is a bit chaotic (industrial area) but it's the real Africa not what I saw in the tour hotel. As soon as the sun goes down it was very quiet. Loved sitting out on my balcony. Breakfast was great, lots of variety and the manager of the hotel even greeted me asking me how I found everything. Nice...
