'Upon arrival, owner had no clue we were due to arrive. Yet our credit card was charged. Neither Expedia nor Vrbo could resolve the issue after hours spent on chats. If there was a score below terrible that would be appropriate.'

'We were greeted by a charming 2 bdrm cottage with a well appointed & comfortable interior & breathtaking views of the lake. 2 decks, 1on the lake, a fire pit, hot tub, lots of deck furniture & comfortable beds. Spacious bathroom & a kitchen with everything needed to cook including spices. All of this with lots of privacy & quiet. Can’t say enough about this property. We will be back. '

'Nice apartment, with lots of space.I was travelling with 3 young adult daughters, therefore needed some space between each of us. This apartment worked out well. The bunk bed is two doubles/queens. Not sure, but we were surprised at how big the bunk beds were at both levels. I worked online from the apartment while there, and the internet worked well without issues. '

'Our family of 5 truly enjoyed our week in area, hiking and exploring new paths/ waterfalls every day (including James Duncan Trail that is close to cabin), visiting Fort Williams, picking amethyst, checking out Thunder Bay shops and food. The cabin was a perfect home-base to relax, cook, and hang out in nature. Enjoyed the flowers and plants in the large yard. It had everything we needed, enjoyed the hot tub, didn’t use the sauna. Very relaxing and appreciated our stay at Doug and Lucy’s Lake...

'We were passing through the Thunder Bay area on our way north fishing. The house had everything we could ask for and was a great place to relax and unwind after a long day of driving. We’d definitely stay here again. '

'This is a cute character home. Had most kitchen items of what we needed while we were there for the weekend. The host responded quickly when we had questions about the home. '

'A little gem of a house. Clean and cheery. Patio on a small river. The surrounding neighborhood is somewhat industrial and apartment-like, yet the property feels restful and secluded. Cynthia was great to deal with. Great base to explore the Thunder Bay area. '

'While the house has many bedrooms and can sleep up to 9 people, The property is best suited to four, as dining and lounging space is limited. The beds are fabulous, the bathrooms very clean, the kitchen well stocked and very functional. There is a great park for evening walks right across the road and you are within 5 minutes to lots of restaurants.'

'This was our second stay. Again it was clean modern and perfect location. The room needs a few touchups but didn't affect the quality of our stay. There's even a washer/dryer you can use at no extra cost. A great bonus! The property manager is professional and prompt to deal with a few requests. You won't be disappointed if you say here!'

'This is the second time we booked this home. It is very clean and well stocked with dishes,cups pots, pans and small appliances. Everything is in working order. The back deck with a roof is very nice and private to enjoy outdoor eating or just being outside. The area and street are usually quiet and not very busy with car traffic. Cindy the host is very responsive and when I asked for a few items, they appeared in the house before we arrived. They have also been very accommodating when we arrive...
