'Lovely cottage. Good location too. The only negative was the bugs that woke us up in the middle of the night. A bit scary because they are really big and crawls on your skin. Other than that, still okay.'

'It's a student halls of residence. If that's what you're expecting I would imagine you'd be very happy with the room. If you're expecting a hotel, it's not a hotel. It was exactly as I was expecting. Comfortable, no frills, perfectly fine for a one night stay for me. Wifi was great. A little bit of noise at times, it's student accommodation, but not too noisy by a long way. I recently stayed at the IBIS in Bristol and that was far noisier. Would happily book again for a short stay.'

'I stayed 5nights in the cottage recently with my son & husband, it was truly great, the rooms are exactly like in the photos; it is clean and cosy with comfy beds; everything works (heating, good shower pressure, fridge, oven & smart TV). The cottage's central location is perfect for day trips e.g to Brecon Beacon's Pen y Fan, The Four Waterfalls, Caerphilly and Cardiff to name a few. 'Beautiful property, well decorated and beyond accommodating hosts. Very reachable, well organized, fully stocked kitchen. Thoroughly enjoyed indoor fireplace, outdoor Norwegian hut which we used for fish dinner. If looking to experience the country side of Wales this is a great find!'

'Room was large, comfortable and had everything you need for an extended stay. Contactless checkin instructions were a bit confusing but in the end I got to my room. The room was modern but could have used a deep clean. Hallways were very noisy due to a family in the neighbouring room (otherwise would probably not have been a problem). Onsite laundry room was not as described in the listing - only one washer/drier and no air dryers on loan and the room was not secured (lock broken). The building...

'The accommodation was spotlessly clean, cosy and modern. Everything we needed for a long weekend away, the welsh cakes and fresh milk we found on arrival were a fantastic welcome. The car park was a stones throw away and very reasonably priced. We will definitely book again.'
