'The cabin looked as if it has had some nice updates inside with laminate flooring, carpeting and paint as well as newer kitchen area. It was decorated very nicely and was clean and comfortable. However, it is still a cabin in the country and retains its rustic feel. We spent most of the time at All Star Village which was about a 30 minute drive through beautiful rolling countryside and charming villages. 'The house was beautiful and even bigger than we expected. The grounds around the house (sheltered patio, fire pit, pool, etc.) were a delightful addition to our group’s stay as well. The host was very nice and made the check in and check out process very easy. The only issue we faced was that the house got very warm as the house is not air conditioned, though there were a few floor AC units and fans available. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely return in the future.'

'New renovations were a plus! Very comfortable with 9 adults. Definitely recommend. Comfortable primary bed. You can tell the home is lived in and cared for versus just an income property so that was lovely. Beautiful view. Location was good for our needs. '

'Plenty of room for multiple families. Very convenient location for All Star Village, about 5 minutes away. Great outdoor environment. Interior could use some upgrading, limited TVs and functionality. Overall great place and would recommend.'

'An easy commute (use the freeway) to the All Star Village fields!!!Decent fishing off the dock- we caught some small mouth bass and blue gill. Use orange swimbaits, small spoons, and flies.'

'We stayed for a short weekend trip in the autumn and we had a great time. The place was clean, cozy, and comfortable. We really enjoyed the hospitality of the owners and the beautiful views that this property had to offer. Definitely a 5 star experience! '

'Very happy with the property. It is right on the lakeside and the lake is rather still most days making for great kayaking. The lake itself is pretty muggy so swimming, at least in this section of it, is not happening. However, the view and ambiance of the area is great. The neighbors to the right are pretty close, and it seems most houses in this area are rentals so Saturday night got pretty loud around us. The kitchen comes stocked with most things you need, and the beds were very comfortable....

The house was clean and is in a safe area and an easy 20 minute drive to downtown Cooperstown where our kids were playing at Doubleday Field. The house easily accommodates two families so that each can have their own areas of the house. '
