'Property was clean and as described. Had everything that was needed and nothing that wasn't. Was looking for a quiet getaway in a beautiful place and the property didn't disappoint. Owner was very responsive to any questions/needs I had. Got lucky with perfect fall weather. Would stay again!'

'Very convenient location quick walk into the village. The house was clean and well stocked and very beautiful with lovely art work. If you have a little one, everything you need is there (ours is one) so it's a lot less you have to pack. Our six year old nephew LOVED his room with the bunk beds, the kids books and toys. The owners are quick to respond and answer any questions you might have. We had a great time kayaking. Can't wait to stay here again. '

'My in-laws an my husband were camping in Old Forge for years and this time we got back with our kids to show them Adirondack mountains. Everything was great! The property is big, clean and ready to accept renters. Large fire pit was the place for our evenings with kids and grandparents. The balcony was our place for breakfasts and dinners. Very homie atmosphere. Close proximity to Old Forge. Loved it and will be back for sure!'

'This is our second stay at High Pines cabin, and it’s always a pleasure. Clean, comfortable, and quiet. We enjoy sitting on the screened in-porch, listening to the rooster crow, or the birds chirping or the river ever cruising by. Thendara and Old Forge are close and there are a few good golf courses not too far away.'

'We were initially hesitant as the property had no reviews but that's only because Pat is just starting to rent it out, so definitely don't let that stop you. In fact, book now before the word on this hidden gem gets out. The house is immaculate and modern but designed with a lodge feel and many cute details throughout. It is spacious, with several common areas both indoors and outdoors - the pictures simply don't do it justice. One unique feature , which we loved is a separate boathouse turned...

'Good place, secluded and quiet, nice home, nice porch, 1 mile from Main st, a yard to play in, plenty of parking. A newer home and well cared for. Nice place for a family. The 10 AM check out was tight, it was required of us to dust all furniture and wipe and dry the showers and sinks, sweep; we haven't seen all that before in the check out rules of a VRBO. '

'Our family ranged in ages 8-80 and all of us had an amazing time! Fishing, paddle boarding, and kayaking was everyone’s favorite past time. The huge dock accommodated all of us. It was especially nice having Old Forge literally right around the corner. The beautiful house was enormous with plenty of room for everyone. This was one of our favorite vacations!'

'Four generations of my family came to Old Forge for a weekend in September. Two groups camped at the Old Forge Camping resort and two stayed at the Thendara House. Everything was as described. We had a great front porch to sit on and there was a fire pit in the back yard. Our host was fantastic! She was always available to answer any questions that we had. The locations was fantastic! I would definitely recommend this house!'
