'We only stayed one night at the Starlite Motel. This motel is not like other places we have stayed. It was quiet and it had character. We really liked that our room included a small kitchen. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. The backyard area was great for us to relax with friends and play games. I would love to come back and stay longer to enjoy the area and I would definitely take advantage of the grills and fire pit. If you’re looking for “modern” this may not be for you, but...

'Beautiful getaway just a few hours drive from NYC. Close to hiking trails and outdoor activities, but also a good amount of restaurants/bars nearby. The host was very communicative and accommodating. The dome was the very clean and comfortable. The host also provided a small bottle of champagne and snacks which was a lovely touch. '

'The Tiny houses are absolutely incredible! Cozy, comfortable, perfect for glamping. The whole vibe and atmosphere is amazing as well. Owners are pleasant people and super easy to deal with. Strongly Recommend!'

'My family and I enjoyed this great home over July 4 weekend. The property was wonderful to view from the large deck, whether it was coffee in the morning or a cocktail in the evening. The kitchen was well-equipped and we all enjoyed the board games, cards, and game room in the basement, where we held multiple shuffleboard tournaments on a rainy day.The location was great too; we explored surrounding towns, hiked Kaaterskill Falls, and mountain-biked the nearby Belleayre Mountain trail...

'My family, husband and daughter, stayed her with two other families. The space was perfect for the amount of people we had. Communication with the owner was excellent. We had an issue with the hot water at one point and he was right on it with a plumber coming to the house and we had hot water within a couple of hours. The property is beautiful with lots to do on the lake with the supplied kayaks and boats. We would absolutely stay here again! One note though- we did bring a tv with us. ...

'The process was easy. Owner was responsive. The place was clean and well stocked. Charming decor and relaxing outdoor spaces. Perfect for a weekend retreat. We enjoyed time on the deck which we like to say had “treehouse vibes” and in the spa. Loved walking up the road with the dog to see the views of the reservoir. '

'My husband and I very much enjoyed our week-long stay. We particularly loved having all the sliding doors and windows open in the master and main rooms to hear the water and enjoy the setting. 'Just a nice place to stay.'

'Such a pretty spot! It’s rustic enough to make it feel like a true get-away. We booked this when rain interfered with camping plans. There is much to do within driving distance including fishing and hiking. We brought our pups who enjoyed the deck and yard. There were two other structures right there, so if the owner happens to rent those out too (unknown to me), then you’ll have neighbors. 'This was an ideal place to spend a birthday weekend with family. The house is beautiful, clean, had a nice view and was the right size for our party. The owner Anne is very easy to communicate with and responded to my inquiries immediately. She was gracious enough to allow us to extend our check-out time when I requested for it. Highly recommended. You get your money's worth.'

"Terrible place to stay, hallways dirty, boxes and other rubish was scattered troughout the hotel. Firealarm was beeping loud in the room, and was hanging from the wall. The room smelled horrible. Went down to check-in and got another room. Smelled a little better but stuff was dirty, dust everywhere. Only superficial cleaning done. This was the only somewhat affordable hotel around but you better drive those extra 25 miles! Never again. "
