'Traveled here for my bachelorette party and was beyond impressed with everything about this property! Check in was easy, the house was clean & one of the best parts was being able to all hang out in the living room/kitchen area to cook and have meals together! '

'We were in the area for a family reunion and need a place to stay for the weekend. While we didn't get to spend much time at the house itself, we did enjoy the peaceful quiet setting. The house was adequate, comfortable, clean, cozy. I wish we had more time to spend on the deck down by the river. If there is a future family reunion in the area, I would book it again. '

'The owner thought of everything—all the conveniences of home replete with doggy pads and a gated outer area safe to take your canine in the dead of night. '

'Wonderful stay, lovely house with lots of room space for a large family. The kids love the dock and boats and we try to fish as much as we can. Saw deer and bald eagle from the deck and played lots of ball in the front. No shortage of tissues, toilet paper, night lights, garbage bags and cleaning supplies. '

'We had a great stay! For the price, you can't beat it having lake front rental with kayaks. Nice views of the lake. Very peaceful. 15-40mins away from great hiking. It was private; sometimes we heard neighbors, but rarely. House on a main road and would hear road noise, but if no cars passing, then it was quiet. We used the kayaks, and I brought my paddleboard. Life jackets were provided. There were a lot of lily pads and the pictures must be older. On the small lake, there was a trail...

"Terrible place to stay, hallways dirty, boxes and other rubish was scattered troughout the hotel. Firealarm was beeping loud in the room, and was hanging from the wall. The room smelled horrible. Went down to check-in and got another room. Smelled a little better but stuff was dirty, dust everywhere. Only superficial cleaning done. This was the only somewhat affordable hotel around but you better drive those extra 25 miles! Never again. "
