'Our family of 4 stayed at Little Moose Lodge for one night and wished we had more time to explore! The bike trail, river access, historic sites and the charming town of St. Johnsonville were all very appealing. We enjoyed walking to a delicious breakfast at the Bridge Street Diner. 'This home was beautifully set up. We really enjoyed cooking meals and relaxing in the hot tub. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great...it rained most of our stay. We took a few road trip and hung out in the house which was lovely. extremely low in the lake'

'My mother-in-law has a bucket list of staying insome unique places so we booked this for her birthday. The caboose is very cool! The caboose is very clean. The kitchen had plenty of cooking supplies if needed and a nice size refrigerator. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels. We would highly recommend staying here, especially if you know someone that loves trains or likes staying in one of a kind places.'

'Our visit was in mid May and the area was lush and green. Including an assortment of waterfowl in the little pond in front of the cabin. Also used to train our young Labrador Retriever (the reason we were in the area). Turns out within a half hour drive there are several national caliber training grounds for the various retriever hunt disciplines. John our host couldn't have been more accommodating. 'Travelled up to Upstate New York to spend a weekend going to Saratoga Race Course and was so blessed to find this gem on the Mariaville Lake. The price was very fair and Tony and Patti were fantastic hosts. I can't wait to come back and do less!
