'We loved the view and the house so much we never wanted to leave and in fact we changed plans for an outing to get more time to just sit on the lawn and read and relax! It was peaceful and a perfect amount of togetherness and solitude. The wildlife was a joy too. Bunnies, beavers, toads, geese, racoons and fireflies! We will be back. '

'We loved our stay. The hosts provided all the kitchen and bathroom necessities. The view from the top deck is beautiful and so peaceful. We spent hours enjoying the view. We saw two swans eating and swimming together, freighters, and small “ocean-like” waves during the sustained higher winds one day. Beautiful.We did not see or understand clearly from the Vrbo listing the bedroom/bathroom layouts. The only cautionary comment that I have is that the second bedroom is on the third level in the...

'The Lavender House was perfect for our long weekend stay with are daughters and dog. The house is very comfortable with great amenities, like soaking tub, fireplaces, hot tub, washer/dryer, and fully equipped kitchen.Conveniently located to Binksberry Hallow. '

'We had no heat due to a broken furnace in December-the owner did bring a space heater, but that blew a fuse, not a relaxing time. We had a group of seven, so we could not find another place to stay short notice. We also found old coffee left in the coffee pot. The location itself was nice and the lake was beautiful!'

'Just perfect. Dan could not have been more accommodating, the cottage is the most charming in which we have stayed, and the view is gorgeous. You truly cannot get any closer to the water. We hope to return next May!'

'House was perfect for our needs. Very friendly owner, had everything ready when we got there and some. 3 couples just getting away from kids for a night to hang out, house was perfect. We had no complaints, and actually have plans to rent again when the weather is a bit nicer.'
