'We wanted to find some snow to play in, and saw storms hitting in the area. We booked last minute and figured we were taking our chances, but ended up with an amazing find! The cabin was warm, cozy, and easy to get to. (And bonus—at least that weekend, we were right on the edge of the snow band, so we were able to go play in snow nearby but didn’t get stuck or have any issues at the cabin.) 'My cousins and I very much enjoyed our 2nd stay at the Matteson’s rental cabin. It’s the perfect home base for a trip to Old Forge. It has everything you need - comfy beds, a nice bathroom with shower, kitchen with fridge, microwave, and regular coffee maker, and a fire pit. We were grateful for the air conditioning too. Bridget is a kind and responsive host. We hope to come back ASAP! :)'

'This property was amazing . From the minute we pulled in we were in aww. The pond was bigger than we thought . The cabin was very nice , clean and ready for us, Ed even started our fire for us ! All weekend we fished in warm , then cold rainy conditions , Ed and his wife even offered to take us on a guided kayak trip! We saw bald eagles, herons and ducks . Great weekend out away from everything , we will def be back !'
