Love the screened in porch and the babble of the river, more lightning bugs than I have ever experienced in my life. Nice and quiet refuge. All positive things to say. 'Beautiful , clean & comfortable! Home is well stocked with basics. Decent kitchen equipment , we cooked in most meals. Easy check in. I loved the back yard & porch. Took peaceful naps out there, only the sounds of nature. It was only 2 of us but would be great for a family or friends vacation spot. '

'The house is very nice. Everything needed for meal prep. Two comfy adult (adjustable memory foam) beds and a room more suited to the kids. It's out a bit from town. Very quiet. The backyard is a firefly show just after dark. I would stay here again. '

'This historical home is just so cool. My kids kept finding new treasures throughout the home. We used it as homebase for my son's wedding and extended family and friends were very comfortable. Enough spaces, rooms and bathrooms for everyone to enjoy time together and apart. My kids LOVED the pool which was very comfortable temperature for September. 'The setting is very nice and quiet. The cabin was really new, clean and well furnished, exactly as the picture represents it. We had everything we need. I would say more then usual vacations renting. The cabin is located nearby Malone were you can find many services you might need (10-15 minutes drive). The communications were easy with the owner. I would highly recommend this place without hesitation.'

'Loved the house, the area and the lake. House is as described, lake is lovely, tons of things to do just at the house and almost hard to leave and explore the area! Our families threw a dart at the map this year for our vacation and we ended up with one of the best trips we’ve had in a long time. Indian and Mountain View Lakes are hidden gems in the Adirondacks and the house is full of history and tradition. Thanks to the owners for sharing this house! '

'Place was amazing! My boys and I(19&24 yr olds) had a great time! Place had everything we needed and some! It was very clean and tidy. It was relaxing and peaceful. We caught some rainbow trout early morning and had a crane visit every morning! Hiked nearby Cascade Mountain for some amazing views of the high peaks... As well as a few rounds of golf in Malone. Hope to return again.'
