'The atmosphere, location, and staff are truly outstanding! Being a small hotel allows the team to offer a remarkably personal experience, with thoughtful communication and attention to your needs even before arrival, making you feel genuinely welcome from the very beginning.
The staff speak several languages fluently and are among the most professional, and genuinely caring teams I’ve encountered. You can really feel the dedication and attention to detail behind everything they do.

'This was a lovely stay in a beautiful traditional house.
Negatives first:
The bathroom could do with a new coat of paint, and the futon on the bunkbed was painfully thin.
However, so many positives!
Well cared for traditional home with authentic features like tatami floors, sliding doors, futons, trad bathroom plus modern electric toilet, well equipped kitchen
The owner (Himeno-san) was lovely and let me check in early which was very much appreciated, the other staff were friendly and...

10/10 Voortreffelijk
Hele prettige ligging, net buiten Takayama.
