The owner is wonderful; she invited my friend and me for tea, picked us up in her SUV since our tuk-tuk couldn't make it up the hill due to an earlier accident, and welcomed us warmly despite our late check-in. 'First off, these are appartments not a regular hotel. There is a restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The rooms are spacious with a living area, kitchen, large bedroom and bathroom At the top of the building there is a small fitness room, pool and hottub. Because it's build on a mountain you really have 360 view over Kandy. The staff and manager are all very nice. The manager tried to help us with arranging train tickets and even brought us to the train station (at 5:30am).'

'De lobby was kil en sfeerloos. Overal felwitte spaarlampen. Slechte acoustiek zoals in een grot. De suite was groot en met gigantische terrassen met zicht al om. Het bed was van goede kwaliteit. De afwerking van de suite liet te wensen over. Er waren overweldigend veel knoppen voor de verlichting (wederom witte spaarlampen). De afwerking kon beter.
