'De verhuurder heeft geen instructies gestuurd over het inchecken. Bij aankomst was er ook niemand om ons te ontvangen. Diverse berichten verstuurd en proberen te bellen met de verhuurder, maar geen reactie. Gelukkig was de achterdeur open, zodat we toch nog binnen konden. Geen welkomstbriefjes of instructies of wat dan ook. Na verloop van tijd druppelden er steeds meer mensen binnen en werd ons duidelijk dat we het huisje moesten delen met 3 andere gasten en dat er slechts 2 slaapplaatsen voor...

'It was a lovely stay at this apartment. The unit is spacious, well equipped and clean. You have everything you need which is absolutely wonderful. Very convenient location with just 5-min walk to the nearby shopping centre. Check-in and check-out instructions were clear and efficient. The process was smooth and the communication with their staff was very good. I received prompt replies from them and they were very helpful in terms of following up my inquiries and problems. 'We had a very pleasant stay, highly recommend, great location, spotlessly clean, loved the special little touches, tea, coffee, biscuits, cereal and even milk and cold water in the fridge. 'Car park a treck if you have items to carry. Digital key code would not work setting alarm off. Told to wait 45 mins for someone to come and re set until she remembered emergency key in cupboard in hallway. Flat lovely inside however bathroom lock was broken and no cold water coming through the shower scalding us. Reported but nonresponse. Fans on and off from building next door. When going out in the morning seeing the entrance in daylight was horrible. Bins and just not a safe looking place....

'We were only here one night, but I loved staying in this flat! It was a real insight into how people live their everyday lives in a city the size of Oxford. Manu was excellent about communicating with us and made sure we would have no trouble finding the flat or getting into it. I wish we could have stayed here longer, and I would definitely reach out to him again if I ever travel back this way!'

'Fantastic little spot. Better than I thought and so well done. Thankyou for a great stay. Shame I forgot to bring a towel but that’s my fault for not reading the description so I had to shower at soho farmhouse. Waking up to the sound of the birds was incredible. '

'Excellent property very conveniently situated for a pre Christmas walkable visit to Blenheim Palace. Also, less than a five minute walk to Woodstock’s fine pubs and restaurants. The accommodation itself was high spec, peaceful and extremely comfortable for a short stay. I would definitely stay again. '

'Host was difficult to reach. We never received check in information. We had to call the property owner twice and Travel Nest three times over several hours to get the information. Listing also says the house house has a washer and dryer, but there is no dryer. '

"Very 'Oxford' style hotel. A little wear & tear in my single room. Room was a little too warm for my liking and opening the window was quite tricky for fresh air (no airco - or at least airco not working at this time of year). Rusty and leaking kettle in the room."
