'Actually met the owner at check-in, he was short-staffed and filling for the front desk clerk on break. He bought the motel from Quality last year, and has been making great strides to update and improve the property. New paint, new carpet, and an entirely new bathroom. (New tile, vanity, mirror, paint, etc. The bed feels pretty new as well. He owns the motel across the street, which looks absolutely darling from across the parking lot, so I have confidence he’ll finish the makeover of this...

'The Pointe was amazing. We happened to make a last minute decision to come to Minocqua and after some research we decided to stay here it was afforable and had a great lay out of rooms. Upon checking in with Danielle she was friendly and very helpful and gave us great detail instructions. We got to our room and it was emaculant clean and beds were comfortable and honestly had everything we needed for a long weekend. 'Had a later check-in. Staff was super friendly and helpful, and got me up and going easily with the EV charger. Nice, clean area all around. I had some meetings scheduled to take after check-out and the staff was super helpful to ensure I was able to attend those without issue.'

'Love the owners ... they are so helpful and friendly! Also, we like to stay here when we bike the trails. Acess to the trails is easy and it is so nice to have the locked and secured shed on the property put our bikes and charge them if needed.'

'I had a lovely solo getaway here. The host was very friendly and responsive. The shack is simple and has everything you need for a few nights away. The bed was comfortable. I loved drinking coffee and reading off the dock each morning. The lake is crystal clear and so clean! '

'Perfect stay. Camper was clean and as advertised. Check in was easy. Our stay was very comfortable.'

'We arrived late and we did not have any issues in getting in. The place was very clean and appealing. Only concern was the bathroom size being too small and a lot of creaking sound from upstairs. Sound insulation could help. The kitchen amenities was great and we loved the tea. Not much to add for we came in late and left after getting up. Overall we enjoyed our stay.'
