'Let op als je met kinderen reist. We zijn een gezin met 2 kinderen. We hadden de triple room geboekt en in de voorwaarden stond dat er dan nog 1 bed bijgezet kon worden. Eerst wilden ze ons in een kamer zetten waar een steiger voor de gevel stond. DIt hebben we niet geaccepteerd. Toen kregen we een andere kamer maar bij aankomst in die kamer bleek pas dat een extra bed er niet bij kan. De triple room is alleen voor 3 personen en er kan geen bed bij. Wij moesten bijbetalen en zijn uiteindelijk in...

'What a beautiful hotel! We stayed in an exquisite villa with the beach at right outside our doors. The enjoy the sunsets from our bed was truly spectacular. A lovely and welcoming staff who catered to our every need. The food was good - but I prefer the menu at their sister property, Kayaam House. But Ahu Bay has THE BEST coconut toffee! Thank you to wonderful staff who were so kind and helpful, especially Nilanga and Kasum.'

'All great. Only thing is, no easy access to ocean because of rocky bottom. 5 min the left and right is sandy beachbottom and to the right close are some beach pools.'

'I love their swimming pool and that they have entrance to the beach. The rooms are a little bit small and old, the service of the restaurant is terrible. We complained by the reception, but they only said, sorry for that. So they need to improve their service skills!'

'The villa is built as an old roman villam with an open patio with pillars untill the roof and a pond in the floor. The rooms are spacious. Super safe and quiet. A lovely garden in which you can have breakfast. '

'Villa White Queen is, zoals de naam al doet vermoeden, een prachtige, grote villa, met dito tuin. Wat we als storend hebben ervaren is de gebrekkige communicatie met het onwennige personeel, een groepje jonge knapen. Slechts een enkeling sprak verstaanbaar Engels. Verder hadden de grote kamers gebrekkige verlichting, geen koelkastje en geen koffie- en theefaciliteiten. '

'Hikkaduwa Beach Hotel is located right on the beach, the ocean is just a step away. We couldn't have asked for a better location. The restaurant is open for limited time frames but room service is available throughout the day. Loved the view from our room, to get the sea view you have to book premium sea view. Comfortable beds and pillows. The staff was courteous and helpful. The Wi-Fi was spotty especially during peak usage but the view, the sea, sun and sand make up for it. Food service maybe...

'Fint hotell direkt vid stranden. Fräsch pool. Ligger bra till utefter huvudgatan där det finns gott om restauranger och affärer. Hotellchefen är svensk och hade fint bemötande samt gav tips o,dl Ordnade enkelt en chaufför till vårat nästa boende. Frukostbuffén hade det mesta man kan önska. Rekommenderar detta hotell. Minus att man inte kunde få en öl till maten'

'Beautiful setting, our villa in the trees was very nice with a downstairs plunge pool. The hotel is amidst thick jungle habitat with walkways between the residences. Service from the staff was second to none, Gayan, Sanjeewa and the chef were excellent and so friendly and professional. I was very disappointed that this hotel is advertised as having a gym and other leisure facilities but upon arrival were told we needed to either walk or drive the km to the Jetwing Lighthouse to use their...
