'We have family in the Tylertown area and usually stay at their place when we come for a visit. This time we decided to rent a place for the two nights and found Colbys River Retreat. Jolla was an awesome host. Greeted us to show us the functuins in the rv and gave us a bag of fresh picked blueberries. She was incredibly nice the rv was clean and had eerything you woukd need. Price was great. There arent any hotels in Tylertiwn area. The river with its great sand bars and tubing is awesome. If...

'Right on the river. Good wi-fi. Nice kitchen. There were only two of us, but you could sleep a large group.Nice yard area for the kids to run.There is one bedroom downstairs. The rest are upstairs.There's a covered porch and the area under the home to lounge in if it rains.Nice and clean.We would go back.'

'House was comfortable, clean and convenient for what we needed. Check-in was a little difficult since arrived when was dark and had to locate an extra key in the back since a door lock that was to be left unlocked wasn't. Also A/C was completely off when arrived on what had been a very hot day so took some time to cool down to a comfortable temperature. Would stay there again though.'

'Home owners were more than helpful. So many extra special details that were not expected but enjoyed; Root Beer floats, bath robes, spare toothbrush and toothpaste. I could go on and on. Hanging by the river for the day was our favorite!'

'Do not recommend. Host was entirely MIA and never provided check in information. Do they even own this property? I spent hundreds on food that went to waste when this was canceled due to the host’s lack of communication to me and vrbo staff.'

'Stayed here for 4 nights. Definitely a repeat vacation for me. This place is quiet, simple, and beautiful. Between the outside deck, the river, and the cabin itself, everything was just so relaxing and peaceful. It's a perfect location for anyone looking for place to go enjoy quiet nature and to reset from everything.'

'Host was amazingly friendly, apartment was very clean,cool and cozy ,the pool and pond was so relaxing,kids also caught fish that I prepared for dinner, Host welcomed my party guest with a smile and charm, the kids played so much , they slept during movie time, while I enjoyed a book by the pool,I'm so excited about returning.'

'This is just what we needed. The property is beautiful and the location remote enough to feel a total peace. The porch is phenomenal. We very much enjoyed the swing porch swings and spend a lot of time there. Our host was amazing. She answered questions and provided information as needed. We will be back for some more rest and relaxation.'

'Loved the decor, clealiness of interior and all the rooms were as pictured. The two tvs in the other rooms did not work which was disappointing as lounging in bed was going to be a plus. The carport could have been cleaned off but the host was very attentive in responding and was nice. Was unaware of no cable but WIFI worked well'
