'We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this riverfront condo! The location couldn’t have been better—right on the water with beautiful views and just a short walk to great restaurants and shops. The condo itself was spotless, modern, and stocked with every amenity you could possibly need. Having access to the boat dock was a huge bonus, making it easy to enjoy time on the river. 'Darien is a great stop while traveling up or down the coast right off of 95 with a safe little town and nice restaurants that are pup friendly. The host is so nice. She even picked us up from a local restaurant when it poured rain! There were dog bowls with fresh water waiting for our pup. She has thought of what you need when traveling. A great stay (twice!)'

'This home is exactly as it was advertised. There is plenty of room for a large family. We went crabbing on the dock and caught plenty to feed an entire family. Will definitely book again.'

'We enjoyed our stay. They provided a dog tie out so I could have her eat outside. We appreciated that they repaired the internet quickly after a storm. Comfortable bed. Nicely outfitted kitchen, but did miss a dishwasher. '

'Everything was great. I’d recommend this home 100x. Debbie was great to work with and our kids loved that we had access to the golf cart. Hunters cafe and the salty cowboy are local eats and both were great!'

'What a great house. It was super secluded and quiet. The house was pristine and had all of the essentials, including toiletries. You could literally just show up with clothes and groceries and never leave.There are plenty of great dining and beverage options within 10 minutes and even more within 30. We made several trips to Darien, Brunswick and Savannah.The pool and yard were the best attraction though, such a great space.We also enjoyed the basketball video game.Really not much more you could...

'This was our third time starting at this house. We love it, just like before. Fishing all day, playing games at night (tons available at the house) or watching funny videos on YouTube in the cozy living room. I drew the blinds up in the living room, bedrooms and the kitchen, because all have the beautiful marsh and the river out back. Love the kitchen at this house too. Loaded up on blue crabs, Bait shops just minutes away. Perfect vacation!'

'Perfect little spot for a stopover for a night or two if you have a long drive up or down 95. My wife and I stayed there with our puppy. 2 miles to 95 and everything was walkable. Friendly neighborhood and very close to the water. Bungalow was very clean and had what you needed for a short stay. A great alternative to getting a hotel.'

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to it.This rental was by far one of my all time favorites from VRBO!!We booked both this property (Yellow Door Lodge) and its sister property next door (Red Door Lodge) for my son's wedding. We wanted as many of our relatives as possible to stay with us. The Yellow Door Lodge was the "next door" house to the "main" get-together house. But that did not deter family from checking it out! 'The cottage was adorable and exactly like the pics. Our dogs LOVED the fenced in back yard. The location was so close to both St Simons & Jekyll. We had one issue with our shower drain and our host drove up the same day to fix it. He was warm and communicative. We would stay again. '

Their home was beautiful, updated, and the coolest place we’ve ever stayed, according to my grandchildren(which is amazing since we had just spent a week in a cabin in the Smokey mountains).
