'We came to Clear Lake for a concert at the Surf. The house is very close! The host let me know about the farmer’s market in the parking lot of the Surf on Saturday mornings, so that was very convenient! The games were nice, there was a chair in the living room that we were all obsessed with, and there were a ton of extra blankets and pillows all around the house for lounging! It was a great little house and had more than enough space for our two couples. The host didn’t reach out after check-in...

'We had a really nice time staying at Swordfish Dog Retreat. The house was clean, well appointed, and wonderfully decorated. It is within walking distance to the downtown and the lake. The lower level was stocked with everything you need to make your dog comfy and the fenced in yard was great too! Mike and Abby were easy to contact about check in and anything else we needed. We hope to stay again in the near future. '

'Enjoyed being in Clear Lake for the Fourth of July. Clear Lake never disappoints there’s always something to do! Being able to stay altogether in one place and the convenience of the location was perfect for us. '

'The house was very clean and well stocked when we arrived. Our family reunions was at the community center in Ventura, but the Clausen house served as a gathering spot for the brothers and sisters to visit. We loved the location as it was easy to walk to plenty of entertainment and shopping. There was plenty of parking. This was our third stay at the Clausen and I am sure there will be plenty more.
