Delightful self contained 2 Bedroomed Holiday home

No 10 Golden Bay Holiday Village is located in a quiet holiday park and is very close to the sea and village of Westward Ho! The beach is sand, flanked by a two mile long pebble ridge. The ocean is very popular with surfers, body boarders and swimmers. In high season the beach is life guard patrolled by RNLI. There is fairly good access to the beach at the slipway about 10/15 minutes walk from the chalet depending on pace. The village offers several places to eat. Our favourites are the Pier House, Tea on the Green and the Village Inn. Hockings award winning ice creams are a must to try. There is a full golf course in Westward Ho! Mini Golf, Go Karts and two play parks. If that isn't enough to keep you entertained there are some great place to visit like Clovelly, Tapely Gardens and attractions such as the Big Sheep (whole day out) and Westward Ho!'s own visitor centre is interesting for smaller children if you have half an hour to spare - bigger children will enjoy the cafe . Once you return to the chalet you can easily cook a meal, if you haven't eaten out already - given its size there is plenty of equipment including an oven microwave, slow cooker and dishwasher to make life that bit easier. At the end of the day you can enjoy a beverage and relax on the deck taking in the sea air and some sea view or be cosy inside with the small electric fire on and relax... before choosing tomorrow itinerary!
