Lovely hotel located in the most stunning natural scenery. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Would definitely recommend!

Truly great break even if it was just for one night. Although not a busy night because of the storm and it being winter we enjoyed the hospitality, food, chatter and general ambience. We have tried to book a night at the hotel over the years but with no luck. We were so lucky to see first hand Storm Isha from the comfort of the hotel. Definitely will be back.

The hotel is in a beautiful location directly adjacent the sea and the views are outstanding. We were running very late the day of check in and staff stayed until after 10 pm to provide us the room key. The room was very clean and had all expected amenities. The breakfast was very good and included continental and cooked options. Overall I wouldn't rate my stay as very good.

stunning location right on the beach. rooms are dated. and although room i had was sea view it is only if you stand up and look over roof of building in front. but was nice to hear the sea through the night. warning there is no mobile signal at all here. just hotel wifi which was ok most of the time.

An excellent hotel, good value for money.
My room was spacious and spotless. For such an exposed and stormy location the hotel felt dry, quiet, clean and warm. The bed was so comfortable. the pub was charming, obviously very popular. Drink prices weren't too high, considering the remoteness of the pub. I highly recommend this hotel.

Das Hartland Quay ist ein Hotel in außergewöhnlicher Lage, direkt am Meer mit fantastischer Natur drum herum. Das Hotel ist modern und schön eingerichtet sowie sehr sauber. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Da wir am nächsten Tag früh loswandern wollten, hat man uns ein frühes Frühstück auf dem Zimmer ermöglicht, das war spitze. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Hartland Quay Hotel is a unique place where the wildness, beauty and charm of Cornwall can be fully appreciated. Even on a bad day weatherwise there is a special magic about a place so isolated, yet still vibrating with the history of this magical spot, and so beautifully run for visitors who can expect every comfort, good food and care from charming hosts.

Hotel with great views
Great siting for a walking break, some great circular walks from the hotel taking in some fantastic vistas and waterfalls. Recommend looking at South West Coast Path website for walks. The hotel room was clean and well equipped, breakfast brilliant and will fill you up for a days walk (Packed lunches are availlable but we did not partake. Restaurant served good and reasonably priced pub food with well kept real ale.

Relaxing break
Really friendly, efficient staff, some of the decor a bit dated but room was spotless and lovely fluffy towels. Spacious shower in our room. It was a family room. The location is spectacular! A shame we couldn’t see the amazing view as there is a building blocking the sea but it is only a short walk away!

Hotel on South West Coast Path
This hotel is on the South West Coast Path, which is an ideal location if you're a walker like us. Not easy to get to without a car, it's a couple of miles from the nearest bus stop. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice, plus they offer delicious packed lunches for walkers for an additional charge. Unfortunately the wifi wasn't great, which wasn't ideal as there is no mobile signal at the hotel.

The Hotel wit the best view in Devon.
This hotel at Hartland Quay is probably the best we have booked, accommodation was 5 star food was 5star from the bar,and breakfast was 5 star,finaly the manager and staff were lovely,we will be back next year.

Perfect location between Clovelly and Morwenstow along the Southwest Coast Path. Good restaurant/pub. Very iffy Wi-Fi and zero cell coverage so if that’s an issue, catch up with your loved ones at the top of the hill before you walk down to the hotel.

Booked to stay here without really checking out the surroundings, it just fitted with our schedule So glad we did, although strictly a walkers hotel, clean and recently refurbished room. Staff very helpful, excellent food, no complaints indeed, nothing but praise. Breathtaking scenery surrounds, but the real joy is in the Hotel and its staff. Thank you for a lovely stay.

A warm welcome in a stunning location.
This is a classic 'pub-with-rooms'. Pleasant bar with simple food. Room simple and comfortable. Two things make this place exceptional. One is the stunning setting - the views are breathtaking. The other is the staff - without exception friendly and helpful. Taken together, this makes the Hartland Quay an extremely pleasant place to stay.

Beautiful view. Secluded area. The room was in good decorative order however the bathroom smelled and looked damp with damp areas on the ceiling and mould in the shower. Food was good in the bar areas and breakfast was served quickly and was tasty.
