Loads of parking space and we got a lovely warm welcome with thoughtful touches thrown-in for the weary traveller to enjoy!
The cottage itself is just perfect, with views from the living room across a beautiful valley and a kitchen that was the social hub - big table for eight and great cooking facilities, utensils and white goods all very useful. There's a cupboards stocked with family games, jigsaws and a library too for those wet and windy "stay at home and chill" days. If that isn't enough, the Games Room has pool, table tennis, skittles, darts, bar skittles to bring out the competitive side of everyone in a fun environment.
The medium sized garden was secure and big enough for our Great Dane to enjoy, the living room has very comfy leather sofas and a decent sized smart telly. Broadband was good but struggled with more than a couple of devices at a time, and thankfully for the work-weary the mobile service (on Vodaphone) was able to handle texts but voice calls in the garden only.
The bedrooms were airy and very comfortable, well appointed with all three showers piping hot and great flow rate. We did a wash in the utility room and hung out to dry on our own washing on the rotary washing line.
