This is a cute attractive home conveniently located in Big Bear. It was roomy and comfortable myself, my wife, and 3 young grandchildren.During our 5 day stay, Big Bear had significant snow. Only twice was the driveway plowed. The homeowner provided no snow shovel. We called the management company and they promptly had one delivered. We had to shovel the driveway ourselves 3 times, and each time took hours to do. They also told us that the owner does not have the driveway plowed when the rental is occupied, WOW!The house could have been cleaner, there was obvious crud and crumbs throughout the kitchen. The outdoor hot tub would not go above 95 degrees, and it wasn't clean. We couldn't use it. When the water heater worked, it worked well. However, it often did not come on when we needed hot water. Apparently, the owner of the property does not subscribe to trash removal, nor does housekeeping take our trash after we leave. They even publish that we would be fined if we left any trash in the house or on the property. The house has a nice fireplace with a gas log lighter, but don't expect to find any firewood. The owner apparently does not provide firewood. We paid a substantial sum to rent this house, it is ridiculous for us to have to drive our daily trash to the local trash transfer station, another WOW!Overall, we were disappointed with this place and learned from our experience. We now know to ask more questions prior to reserving a vacation rental.
