Great experience
Our stay perfected matched up with a snow storm that cleared the day we went home. It was cozy, comfortable, and easy to relax all weekend. Very close to the village which we wanted. We would visit again.

As stated great location. Nature, stores and restaurants are either within walking distance or 5-10 minute drive. The place was clean and kitchen was well stocked with cookware etc. The jacuzzi was a great hit. It was peaceful and we would come again. The only suggestion I would have is a new coat of paint outside especially the patios and flooring. We got several splinters from railings outside. It was peaceful. The jacuzzi was a great

Great communication
We ultimately didn’t get a chance to stay at this property due to extreme weather issue. However communication with the host, Steve, was extremely easy. We may not have had a chance to stay at the property this season but it’s saved and we’re looking forward to getting a chance to come back next season!

Nice Cabin close to Slopes!
We loved staying at this cabin and will definitely be back. It has everything you need and is close to Snow Summit and the Village. The only downfall would be, it only has one bathroom. There were 4 adults, but we made it work. The Jacuzzi was nice in the evenings. This is a two story cabin with livingroom/Kitchen upstairs and Bedrooms/bathroom downstairs. It also has two nice decks.

Great location, nice property, responsive host
The house kept us warm and cozy through a snowy weekend. The owner was super responsive with questions, and the fresh snow and small hill in the front turned into a great little sled run for the kids. Recommend it!

Love this cozy cabin
This was our second time staying here and it did not disappoint. We had fun at the nearby snow tube park, hiking, eating in, and relaxing by the fire or in the jacuzzi. The kids were thrilled that there was Disney Plus and even more board games than last time. Steve was friendly and responsive. We hope to return again soon!

10 minute walk to snow summit
great location! Love this neighborhood. Really enjoyed the large fireplace. Perfect for 2 people. The internet and the TV did not work while we were there, which we were counting on.

Great Little place with solid communication!
Super easy. Host was responsive quickly with each of my inquiries. There were 3 of us and I wouldn’t recommend much more (one bathroom) but it was perfect for us. Loved all the games. One note - the hot tub gave all 3 of us a skin rash, so maybe check on the levels in there. Besides that, all was great!

Excellent Charming Mountain Home!
This was a lovely spot for a calm, snowy New Years with my husband! We loved the house and it’s rustic charm. We used the hot tub every afternoon/evening and it was a short stroll to summit for snowboarding. Kitchen was basic, but stocked with everything we needed to make home cooked meals each night. Great host and great place to stay for a couple or small family!

Nice place to have a small family vacation
Was a great experience. The property had all necessary amenities. The heater and lighting was a little weird to manage but was able to navigate. Loved the set up of the place. Enough space for a small family. Very quiet and lovey scenery.

Our family enjoyed our stay. Steve communicated with me timely about the national forest wildfire closure. Steve also had the smoke alarm fixed and had the hot tub cleaned upon request. The kitchen and living room are on the upper level, which we did not like.

Thank you, we are glad you enjoyed your stay. The listing for our cabin clearly states that it has a “flip flip plan” in the description, with the kitchen and living room on the second level. And to clarify, the spa is cleaned regularly, which you questioned prior to your stay. Thanks again.

Beautiful house/cabin. But one feature may not suit everyone.
First this way over my expectations and we had a wonderful stay. Bigger in person. Kitchen has everything needed. Absolutely loved the woods feeling & nature sounds at night, like your sleeping in the woods if the window are open. Unfortunately 2 nights out of the 4 got cold & had to close them. We couldn't get heater to work in the house, used the 2 portable heaters in the closet for heat and the house cannot take it. It kept BLOWING the fuses. We could not get certain lights back on. Eventually it worked after flipping all fuses from fuse box multiple times lol. The bathroom is the only you might not like. It is downstairs & you gotta walk thru it to go on & out the back deck. So it was hard everything one was using the bathroom to either wait or hold your nose & dont look run thru lol. Otherwise we delt with it. The decks are absolutely awesome you'll fall in love here. Hottub you csn raise to 104. See directions in the welcome book in the kitchen that explains everything. It was for me, only thing to unthaw me in the early am whem freezing. The tv has a ton of channels and it's flatscreen not old tvs. Really comfortable living room upstairs has big recliner, couch, loveseat, rocking chair. 2 grilld one charcoal, one propane. There was charcoal there but you never know as it states they don't supply so was left behind as we left behind fire wood so next people got firewood free from us.. I really do recommend this place even thou minor flaws. Nothing that just really killed us. But we was ready to go. Hopefully next time heat works is all. I've stayed alot of places here. This was my favorite because pine trees, privacy, nature sounds. I just loved it. We didn't mind the stairs or flip flop design bedrooms sre downstairs & livingroom/ kitchen upstairs. I've seen post saw it's walkable to places. Ummm I don't recommend that! You need a vehicle here. Otherwise you'll be walking some long ways. Do check out sizzler it's ayce buffet not far we caught before leaving. Owner is very easy & responsive if you need anything. Enjoy your stay. Ow and nobody noticed plastic over beds. They was just fine. It has a shower only also. No bathtub. Hope I helped anyone.

This is an adorable little cabin! Looks just like the pictures, only better! Quiet neighborhood. Easy to get to. A front porch AND a back porch…amazing! Don’t hesitate, book it!

Bigger than it looks
Upstairs over-delivered in terms of being clean, spacious, and cute-version-of-dated with modern tv setup (flatscree, Roku etc). Not as tiny as the pics make it look, and my wife and I both felt it was cute and clean in person, like the green tile was feature not a bug. And it has a hot tub (though was a tad mungy when we’re there, probably because not a lot of summer guests so goes a while between visitors). Only complaint is the beds are very small. Sleeping 5 is only if you have some small people sharing beds. The bed in the master is a just a full, so it’s tighter than most couples are used to. The other bedroom has a twin bed and a second slightly larger one that I felt was smaller than a full size. Definitely kids only in there. Would definitely stay again.

Cute outdoor look
The cabin looks great from the outside , owner was responding to my questions at the beginning g . Dirty laundry was left behind , the hot tub was something I looked forward to and the water turned out to look yelloish (gross) the light in the tub did not turn on for me , the porch light above hot tub did not turn on either . I did let the owner know of my concerns and I never got a response. Yes the beds are uncomfortable seemed old to me. I would not stay here again unless updates are done

Thank you for your review and letting us know about the lights and laundry. As far as the spa, it’s important to let us know about these types of things during your stay so we can address them with the spa company, not after your stay. The master bedroom mattress is new, but unfortunately firmness is a personal preference and hard to find one mattress that fits all. Thanks again.

Everything was perfect. We felt right at home from the beginning of our stay. It was a very cozy, quiet, and beautiful neighborhood. The owners provided everything exactly as listed. Hot tub was heavenly and the village and locals were very kind. Overall very pleasant experience for first timers in Big Bear. We will definitely book with Steve and Jeana again in the future.

Perfect snowy escape!
My husband, kids, and I really enjoyed this cabin. We loved the high ceiling, natural light, and forest views in the living/dining area. It snowed the morning after we arrived, and we had a blast playing in the snow and sledding the little hills in the front yard. The jacuzzi and fireplace were warm and cozy at the end of the day. The kitchen was stocked with oil and spices, there were several fun board games, and the dryer came in handy. Steve gave us a late check out since we didn’t want to leave!

Great for a crawling baby
My little one crawled everywhere I loved that he could go anywhere. My older son also loved the back yard so he could sled, I loved that the kitchen had everything I needed to make dinner for my family and my fiancé loved the rocking chair and Netflix.

Started off kind of rocky. Arrived at cabin about 1:45 and cleaning lady told us we could not enter cabin til 3pm, rental agreement said 2pm. Cabin was clean and described accurate on site. Beds and living room furniture very old and uncomfortable. Overall cute cabin close to everything.

The house is okay our kids enjoyed the room and beds we all enjoyed the Jacuzzi
Over all we loved the place my only concerned was that i have to re-laundry all the pillow cases and inside blanket due to has hairs. We cleaned the kitchen and living room vacuum the carpet upstairs b4 we left. We used our own supplies as noted. We left the house clean. We gave the housekeeper an easy job she just need to wash all the towels, beddings and vacuum all the little corners. Also Jacuzzi need a water changing. My kids had fun and for sure we're going to recommend Steve's place to our friend's and relative.

The house is in a great location walking distance to Snow Summit in a lovely neighborhood. The cabin was not in the best shape, the carpets and floors were unswept and not vacuumed. All of the mattresses need to be replaced they were all very uncomfortable and they had these weird plastics things on them that made so much noise when you tossed and turned. The lazy boys was torn and couch was saggy. Overall the stay was great and we enjoyed it but it would be awesome with a couple of updates.

Nice cabin and neighborhood
Cabin is in a great neighborhood, close to everything yet feels secluded from main roads. Kitchen was well equipped, and living area was comfortable. We enjoyed playing in the snow in the front yard, and walking around the neighborhood. The one negative was the beds, they were really uncomfortable and had a plastic cover on them that made sleeping at night hard.
