'It appears the property is like a renovated motel. Room was adequate. No bed bugs. Bed was very firm. Heat worked well on cold desert nights. Shower had a good flow. It was leaking which we reported. Shower curtain had that red bacteria on the bottom but it wasn't frightening. Bathroom door had some dirty finger prints. Check in was easy and friendly. Parking was right outside the door. Location is perfect if you want to be near the Big Bend Panther Creek Junction entrance. Close to Terlingua...

'Staff were great'

'This place is actually kind of a neat set-up. A series of small little moto-lodging huts, but each with their own individual bathrooms (NO community/ shared baths!) It's pretty new, can't be more than a few years old. Very clean linens and bedspread, rustic look (a lot of interior wood). There's a water heater under the sink that heats the water and shower together. All the accessories of a standard hotel room - except there's no soap or shampoo whatsoever, so bring your own!!.Very quiet because...

'Hotel lobby zag er authentiek stijlvol uit. Kamer was erg klein. Voordeel was dat er een restaurant bij zit. Wij kwamen er aan in een zandstorm, we hoefden de deur gelukkig niet meer uit. Overigens was er verder niet veel in Van Horn. '
