Geniet van een fantastische vakantie in dit moderne luxe huis met vier slaapkamers langs het pad in Big Sky Resort, Montana. We noemen ons huis "Hut in het bos" omdat het een gezellige hut voelt en locatie, maar laat het woord hut je niet misleiden - samen met de hand uitgehouwen log constructie en stenen open haard zijn kathedraal plafonds, luxe voorzieningen, een gastronomische keuken en professioneel ingericht interieur. Het huis heeft ook een eigen terras met extra grote hot tub, Adirondack-stoelen en gasgrill.
Big Sky ligt halverwege Bozeman, MT en West Yellowstone. Geniet in de winter van het uitgestrekte skigebied van Big Sky Resort. In de zomer bent u minder dan een uur naar Yellowstone National Park. Geniet het hele jaar door van lekker eten, spadiensten en winkelen.
Winterhoogtepunten: ski-in / ski-out naar Big Sky Resort, dat meer dan 5800 hectare terrein heeft, 4350 ’verticale afdaling, 23 liften, 300 paden en 7 terreinparken op 4 verbonden bergen. Gemiddeld 2 hectare per skiër / boarder, het staat bekend om weinig tot geen lift lijnen en paden voor elk niveau. Minuten naar Nordic skiën in Lone Mountain Ranch, die is uitgeroepen tot # 1 Nordic skigebied in Noord-Amerika en biedt meer dan 80 hectare geprepareerde paden. Andere activiteiten zijn hondensleeën, sleeën en lef.
Hoogtepunten in de zomer: Yellowstone National Park ligt op een korte 50 kilometer rijden met de auto. Dicht genoeg voor dagtochten om ongelooflijke flora en fauna te bekijken. Andere buitenactiviteiten in de zomer zijn wandelen, mountainbiken, vliegvissen, golfen, paardrijden, tokkelen, touwbanen, kajakken en wildwatervaren. Veel van deze bevinden zich direct voor de deur van de basis van Big Sky Resort.
Hoogtepunten van het huis: een open keuken / woonkamer met gewelfde plafonds leidt u door de ingang. De woonkamer is voorzien van een prachtige houtgestookte stenen open haard en 55 "Smart HDTV met Direct TV. Eettafel stoelen 10. Aangrenzende zitplaatsen 3. Gastronomische keuken is volledig gevuld. Vier aparte slaapkamers bieden plaats aan maximaal 12 personen. Twee boven master suites hebben kingsize bedden en ligbaden. Er zijn twee slaapkamers op hoofdniveau, een met queensize bed, een met twee volledige stapelbedden. Alle slaapkamers hebben een flatscreen Smart TV en / of Direct TV. Alle drie de baden hebben granieten aanrechtbladen, aangepaste douche en vloertegels. Voorzieningen gekozen voor comfort en luxe: donzen dekbedden voor alle bedden; Aardewerk schuur handdoeken; hot tub handdoeken inbegrepen; linnengoed van Restoration Hardware, Dwell Studio en dergelijke. Bijgevoegde een auto verwarmde garage. Parkeren voor een tweede auto op oprit. We leveren ook spellen, kaarten, puzzels, Wii, pack n play en kinderstoel. Een bezoek aan Big Sky en je zult willen blijven!

Quiet and very well appointed

Our stay was fantastic. The location is relatively easy ski in ski out although it does require a little bit of skating. The house was very appointed, clean and as described. Lovely communication with our contact as far as check in and check out. We would definitely rent here again.

Great location

Great location to white otter lift which can connect you to the rest of all the lifts and slopes. Easy to get to the mountain village and downtown. Home is very accommodating, spacious and comfortable. Lisa is super friendly and easy to get in touch with. House was stocked with toiletries beyond what we thought from the listing, which was nice. I would recommend two minor things if staying here (1) bring your own forks, the forks provided have all the tines curved up. Think of a fork wrapped around a chapstick tube…my family was struggling not to have the tines hit the roof of their mouth. Very strange, we think a prior guest is playing games by bending the forks and the hosts were not aware. (2) Bring an Apple TV or Fire TV stick if you want to use the televisions. We could not get any of the embedded streaming apps to work (no longer supported due to age) and the Direct TV service only had 3 channels. Very minor stuff as you go to Big Sky to ski and television is not a big deal, but worth mentioning if you have a non-skier in your party. We would absolutely book this house again given Lisa’s hospitality and accessibility.

Amazing ski in access! Loved it!

We loved staying at this property at the end of the Ski season! Although the White Otter lift closed a day after our arrival, it was still extremely convenient to the Mountain Village, so we had easy access to kids' lessons, restaurants/grocery, etc. The home is beautifully done and contains most of what anyone will need to have an awesome ski vacation, including drying racks/machine, and lots of hooks and storage for ski equipment. Lisa (the host) was EXTREMELY responsive and helped us plan activities for the kids, find delicious local eats, and everything in between! Thank you so, so much, Lisa! Hope to come back next year!!

Big Sky Ski and Ride 2024

The house was roomy, well stocked and in a good location. I was disappointed that one of the TV's in one of the upstairs bedroom was not connected to anything (I.e., Direct TV like the rest of the house) so it was worthless. The instructions and directions were very detailed and appreciated. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great ski house - Easy in, easy out to the slopes

Perfectly described . Super responsive to our needs. As example, the grill was malfunctioning and the maintenance staff came over within hours to check it out and replace the regulator. The grill then worked perfectly for our steaks and chicken. Lots of games and plenty of cards for evening fun. Kitchen is well stocked with a good variety of cooking and eating utensils and cookware. Kids sleds and boot warmers in the garage . Fully supplied wood for fireplace . The hot tub was a big plus . All beds are comfortable for adults in addition to children .

Great Place for a Family

Our family of 8 adults had a wonderful stay at this property. The listing is a fair representation of the unit. Check-in and out was very smooth and the owner has a detailed location guide in the home. I highly recommend reading this for the “ski-in” instructions … I’m happy I did as there is some “local knowledge” needed to get back to the unit. Garage served as our equipment room which, thank goodness, is heated. Hot tub great for apres ski. We would definitely rent again.

Mountain Bliss

Seven adults enjoyed a spectacular week on Power Ridge, just five minutes by car to the base village of Big Sky. The snow was great (barely!) and the layout of the house was awesome. Lisa the owner was super responsive to all our questions and flexible about the booking (we had to re-book dates due to work conflict. A special treat was the wood-burning fireplace in the family room and the hot tub right outside the back door!!

Fantastic Ski in /out Property

This was our second time staying at this lovely Powder Ridge home in Big Sky. We were 2 families including teens and young adults. The 4 bedrooms nicely accommodated us. The kitchen was fully stocked. Both the owners and property manager were always available and super helpful. Even though the snow was lacking this time, we could still ski in/out with basically a private lift only minutes away. The jacuzzi is great to soak in after a long day on the slopes. Lastly there is a great sledding hill just behind the property. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful, cozy, and convenient home in Big Sky

This home was perfect for two families of four. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals, there was plenty of firewood for cozy nights by the fireplace, and Lisa and Jeremy were both quite responsive. We had an amazing getaway in Big Sky and even got to extend our trip for the fresh snow that was forecasted for the day we were supposed to leave.
