AMAZING!!

This stay by far exceeded our expectations!! The condo was amazing and in a quiet part of town. Everything was impeccable. We had everything we needed plus some. I was a little confused (all my fault) on the location of the lockboxes and rental office, but a condo-owner was entering at the same time I was and was extremely helpful. We absolutely loved it here and were sad to leave! I have never left a hotel review in my life, but wanted to for this one. It was incredible!

Positief: Netheid, inchecken, communicatie en accuraatheid advertentie
Check-in would have been rough, without the kindness of a stranger at the entrance, but we would have figured it out. The property is located across the highway from the beach, but walking distance for most. The parking garage is not suitable for large trucks, but thankfully my 72yo father was able to park close most of the time, but there is very limited handicapped parking. Bring necessary toiletries; we had to make a run to a local store for soap, shampoo, extra tp. Sadly we forgot sweetener & creamer for coffee. The view is amazing! The property was clean and well-maintained. Full kitchen, but we only used the refrigerator and microwave. My teens 13-17 enjoyed the pool and said the fitness room was nice. We would stay here again, but there is a slight compromise on privacy in-room, though it is beautifully decorated and welcoming. Contact with the owner was easy and they responded promptly. We never saw staff on site but one security guard and someone cleaning pool area once each morning.

The front desk closes at 5pm for your parking tag, but you can call security after hours for it. This was not in check in info. The room smelled musty, like a wet or almost decaying smell. Pretty sure it was mold from the master shower leaking under the threshold. Your bath mat will be soaking wet after a shower and you'll see the grout is moldy. Unit did not have any beach towels in it, but there was random beach items in the guest closet, presumably from previous guests. While looking for beach towels and the cause of the smell, discovered the main AC unit was covered in dust. The other AC in the guest room was extremely loud, so wouldn't be shocked if it wasn't also dusty and needing a new filter. The refrigerator would not cool down fully. Towels smelled like mildew. We had to wash every dish we wanted to use because they were visually dirty. Everything was luke-warm. We only stayed for 3 nights, thankfully. Had this been any longer of a stay, I would have left and found another place. As much as we travel, this was one of our most disappointing stays in a long while. The building did feel safe and the pool was nice with lots of chairs and 2 grills for use. Right across from the beach and near lots of restaurants and stores. I'm sure another unit at this complex would've been much better.
