I have never left a bad review, but my experience was frustrating. I booked a King Suite to specifically have a separate room.
While checking in, the employee was rude and texting on his personal phone.
When I got to my assigned room, I discovered it was not the King Suite that I had booked. I immediately returned to the counter to explain the mistake and ask for a King Suite, like I had booked.
I showed the employee proof of my email confirmation. He said, “Well, my system says King Studio” and “there is a problem with the system. I see you booked the King Suite, but my system says King Studio.”
I asked him if he could fix the mistake, as I had booked the room I needed. He was unhelpful and insisted there was nothing he could do. I finally asked if there were King Suites still available which he did confirm. I was charged an additional fee at the hotel for the room I had originally booked.
I was not asking for special treatment; I just wanted the room I had booked.
The stay itself was fine. The room was clean enough, though there were stains on the shower curtain.
