Tha staff and management was extremely accommodating. However the location of the property was "undesirable". The were occupants near our room that was suspect with people coming and going through the day and night. Was surprised that I had to pay an additional $50 no smoking fee that is supposed to be removed from my account when we check out. But very appreciative the staff and management. I understand that running a facility that size is a lot.

The bed sheets are clean. The floor and the room are clean. But the bed cover has stain and the iron board has stain. One of the chairs is in poor state. The drain in the shower is slow. The hotel is next to a highway and rail road so you will hear road noise and train air horn. They collected $50 refundable deposit. So pretty average hotel. The laundry is coin operated and only has 1 washer and 1 dryer and they said it is 3rd party owned not the hotel operator. We went to a laundromat instead. Please see photos I uploaded.

The hotel looks a lot rougher than it does on the pictures. It’s in an old, neglected part of town with an abandoned Popeye’s across the street. You can also hear all of the noise from the highway. At least the room is decent & clean.

Most horrible experience I've had in my life so far , might as well be at a truck stop restroom. The bed was so filthy I didn't even sit on it . Toilet still had crud all over , the fridge had rust inside , even the chairs had all kinds of stains all over and the bottom was hanging out. Slept in my car, couldn't get a refund, and Expedia didn't call back like they promised.

At check in the lady at the desk said that my card has been denied prior to check in.. when I had a receipt from Expedia stating otherwise and she was saying the last 4 digits of my credit card did not match. She called someone and it was straightened out. We reserved a handicap room because my son has congestive heart failure and our room was in the 3rd floor and 3 flights of stairs. When we got to the room my shoes were sticking to the floors that had broken linoleum flooring. My pillowcase had stains on it and the tv table has greasy residue on the top. I tried to get a different room and the lady at the front told me she had already assigned me a room and there was nothing she could do, and that I was in one of the best rooms they had. I sprayed our bedding down with Lysol laid blankets that I had brought from home on top of the beds to sleep on. The only reason we stayed here was to be able to get to UAB early the next morning for heart test for my son. The advertising is so misleading! Will never stay here again.

This was a terrible property. Expedia listed it as 4.2. When I booked saw that it was rated below 2. Room smelled like moldy carpet. Mattress was lumpy placed on a sheet metal frame that popped everyone you moved. Shower ceiling had paint peeling, and low water pressure. Walked from shower to bed to sit down & put on socks. Dirt & grit on bottom of feet. Sheets, blanket, and bed cover smelled like cigarettes. Towels had stains on them. Went to “free “ breakfast at 7 am. No one in the room. No food, no coffee. Guy behind desk said to use coffee in jugs and heat In microwave. I will never use Expedia again, and will never stay in a Days Inn

Manager argued with me about wanting fresh towels, asking me, “Do you use fresh towels at home?!?” Uhm YES!!! Charges a deposit for a non-smoking room. Fee for early check in. Breakfast was horrible, sausage sitting in pan not on heat with film on them. Ran out of everything. Ice machine broken. No microwave in room. Have to travel to the lobby to warm up food. I normally I’m not one to complain, and I can really let places get away with a lot before I mark them as bad, but this place was truly disgusting. I have pictures I’m not sure if I can attach, but from yellow stains on the white shower curtains, the white towels, other color stains on sheets, dirty floors, super dirty air vents, almost clogged with dust and dirt, molded, and corroded mirror/sink. The single king bed was no better than a futon with a movable, extremely loud squeaky metal frame, and spring, that you could move the entire bed with one hand. The bed itself was terrible in comfort. And like I said, I’m not usually want to complain especially for the price, but this was just unacceptable. Then when I get there and they tell me I booked a smoking room when I in fact book a non-smoking room and charge me an extra $50 for a non-smoking room undisclosed

If you don’t have to stay here…. Don’t.
No no no. The door going into the lobby should have gave it away! It looked like it was hanging on by one hinge and was nasty looking! The complementary coffee was terrible. Then we get to the room. The floor had stains and was dirty. The room was very basic. A little to basic. The maid try to come in our room the next morning… Overall it was just sketchy.

Was in Birmingham for grandsons soccer. Motel located close to all soccer fields. Room was large and bed was nice and comfortable. Breakfast was not good. Arrived at 6:30 AM. Sausage was cold and covered in grease in pan with cold eggs. Did not taste good after being microwaved. Had to eat at IHOP after 7:30 soccer match. Everything other then breakfast was fine.

Easy access off I-20. We came in after dark and it was raining, so the turn in was a little difficult to see. The room seems to have been recently updated.
