Positives- the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff were very polite and welcoming. Breakfast was value for money. The only downfall was in the morning the rrom was very bright. There was alot of light coming from the window around the curtains and as the bathroom door had a gap alot of light was coming through that also. This made me wake up early.

The staff were polite and welcoming and the hotel was generally clean. The room I was allocated had a funny smell. When reported to the front desk the staff did provide me with a fresh air spray which didn't make any difference to the smell. Also, my room faced the alleyway which led to the clubs/party area where there was loud music playing into the night which kept me up. I did ask to be moved but was told there were no other rooms available.

Nice hotel, loved the area. Booked when it was Chinese new year celebrations so very busy. Very convenient for restaurants, shopping, the station. Rooms are compact but that’s ok with me, somewhere comfortable to get a nights sleep. Has underground secure parking, a big plus.

Only stay at this hotel if you’re planning on staying up past 4am and you’re ok with not getting any sleep. It’s located directly opposite a club and they say on their website “These night activities could impact the nocturne noise levels” which does nothing to prepare you for the bass so loud it makes the water on your bedside table vibrate. They have what staff refer to as “the noisy side” and “quiet side” of the hotel. Even staff admit the noise levels in the “noisy side” are unacceptable yet they still allocate these rooms. They actually ask their customers to complain to the council on their behalf but don’t provide a full refund even though they knowingly allocate you one of the noisy rooms. They essentially knowingly sold me a faulty product then refused a full refund.

Excellent value for the money. Great location, easily walkable, and close to numerous good restaurants. Check-in was smooth and easy, with request for a quiet room happily accommodated (and thus had none of the noise issues other reviews reported). The entry and lobby were inviting, and the security key for the elevator appreciated. Room and bathroom are adequate for one person but could be tight for two. The room was hot, as others note, but the fan helped. The bed was comfortable, and the shower strong. A few small areas for improvements: - the desk chair was old and the paint peeling - only the mattress pad had a sheet on it, rather than the mattress itself - in line with other ecological measures, a separate bin for recycling would be nice - a room safe always feels wise - password for the Internet smart as well Many thanks!

Room was like a sauna. Opened window to cool to a more reasonable temperature. Kept window open all night but the noise from the street kept me awake and it went on till 5am. Hotel location is very central and price was good but wouldn’t stay again because noise and heat made sleep almost impossible.

Access to room not great but otherwise good
Location of the hotel is great but it does come with some noise as a result. Room itself absolutely fine. Check in straight forward. My issue is with the lift as one was out of order during my stay, it was impossible to get in the working lift from 3rd floor as it’s always full/it goes to the top floors first.

Great Staff, Avoid Staying here on the Weekend
The staff were brilliant but avoid going to this hotel on a Friday or Saturday as you will have no sleep until early hours of the morning. There is a nighclub adjacent to the hotel and it plays deep bass music until 3am.I asked for earplugs, which were provided, but the bass penetrates through the floor meaning when you put your head on the pillow that's all you can feel and hear. Breakfast has lots to offer, though.

Great location not far from New Street, right in the heart of China Town and close to the Bullring indoor market. Room was small but comfortable enough for one night. The shower control was stuck but someone from housekeeping did come to resolve it quickly. Great that they have a 24 hour bar, and that area was very nice and welcoming. Overall enjoyed the stay.
