'Upon arrival at The Carrick, there was a minor glitch. We were given keys to the room we had booked, but when we got to the room, it was apparent that housekeeping had not yet cleaned the room (i.e., beds not made, etc.). We went back to the front desk where they apologized and found us another room. It took about 5 minutes while they went to check out the new room before sending us there, but in the mean time we sat on the comfortable sofa in the lobby and enjoyed the snacks and cold drinks...

'The Oliver House is a beautiful and historic property in Bisbee. If you are a fan of history, this is the place for you. The staff working the day I was there was friendly and helpful. The speakeasy in the hotel is the main attraction. It makes it convenient if you don't want to travel far. However, the main strip is just a few feet away, and you can get a meal or another drink at various other places on the main strip. '

'Very clean and comfortable rooms. The host responded immediately when we called with a minor problem… she even brought a small basket of goodies. It was a short walk to Mornings, a great place to eat. It is a quiet place to rest after a busy day in Bisbee. Our only suggestion to consider is to paint the house number in a darker color so it is more visible to the road as we had to walk up to the house to verify we were in the right place. Otherwise, a terrific experience!'
