Birch Vacation Home - Get a little closer to nature.

Our Birke vacation home is located at an elevation of just under 830 meters in the Bavarian Forest. It is situated in Habischried, a district of the municipality of Bischofsmais in the Regen district. Bischofsmais is a state-recognized resort town. Here you’ll find the tranquility of the forest and nature, with countless hiking trails and destinations starting right at the house.

The Geisskopf mountain is in the immediate vicinity—a mountain biking paradise (uphill and downhill) in the summer and a ski resort in the winter. The Arber region and other surrounding peaks, the treetop trail and Neuschönau National Park, the numerous glassblowing workshops, and the cities of Passau (69 km) and Regensburg (94 km) also invite you to enjoy excursions and activities.

Vacation Home:
The vacation home is a 4-room semi-detached house, 120 m² spread over 2 floors. Tastefully and comfortably furnished: living/dining room with an open fireplace, dining table, TV, stereo, and DVD player. Access to the terrace. Open kitchen (4 hot plates, oven, dishwasher, toaster, electric kettle, microwave, electric coffee maker). Shower/toilet. Upper floor: 2 double bedrooms, each with satellite TV. 1 double bedroom. Access to the balcony. (Ladder) Loft with 1 bed. Bathroom, separate toilet. Floor heating. Balcony, partially covered terrace. Patio furniture, balcony furniture, portable grill. Available: Washing machine, clothes dryer, high chair, crib, changing table. Internet (Wi-Fi, free). Please note: Non-smoking house. Maximum of 1 pet/dog allowed. Smoke detectors. Instead of a closed-off bedroom, some sleeping areas are located in an open space (loft, alcove, etc.).

Important:
Bookings are only available on a weekly basis. Check-in and check-out are always on Saturday.

Supermarket 5 km, bus stop “Habischried Gasthof Schäfflerhof” 250 m, train station “Triefenried” 4 km. Geißkopfpark ski lift/mountain bike trail 1.3 km, cross-country ski trail 250 m. The Deggendorfer Golfclub e.V. is 11 km away.

Parking:
A private parking space is available directly in front of the vacation home for exclusive use.

Additional costs to be paid on site:
We will collect a security deposit of 200 euros on site to cover unforeseen expenses.
According to the regulations of the Bischofsmais municipal tourist tax ordinance, the following additional costs apply as a tourist tax: €2 per night for adults (ages 16 and older); €1 per night for teenagers (ages 12–15); children (ages 11 and younger) are exempt from the tax.
