'The location is fabulous, the apartment is fantastic and amenities great. The beds were not great, very uncomfortable. They advertise luggage storage and before we checked in they stored our luggage and then took it to our room when the room was ready, that was awesome, but when we asked for luggage storage on our check out we were told we would have to pay. Staff were very friendly and helpful.'

'Great unique and quirky loft space. Very central right opposite Minster Cathedral. The bells rang for about an hour on the Sunday midmorning, but don't know if that is a regular thing. 'Voor 2 personen is er genoeg ruimte. Op de foto's was al duidelijk dat er geen lekkere buitenstoelen waren dus hebben we die van onszelf meegenomen. Het is lekker rustig daar, de bewoners die ook op het terrein wonen drongen zich absoluut niet op. Je hebt er dus echt gewoon je eigen plek met zelfs een overdekte parkeerplaats voor de auto. 'Prince Rupert House is a very beautiful house on a country estate. It has an outdoor pool which our grandchildren loved. Also croquet, tennis court and lots of walks. We had no issues with the house … it slept 10 comfortably and would accommodate 12. Great place to go and relax. 25 minutes from York and 30 minutes from Harrogate. All in all a lovely time together as a family. No complains at all. I can heartily recommended this place. They also have smaller properties too.'

'This holiday home is the most perfect myself and partner have booked. The decor is absolutely amazing and a lot of thought had been put into it by the owners. It is impossible to pick any faults. The home was clean and high standard and quality of equipment and furnishings. Studying the ‘quirky’ decor was an enjoyable time spent. Simon and Lynne were so friendly without being intrusive. 'In a nice quiet neighbourhood on the outskirts of York, with ample parking. This lovingly maintained townhouse was the perfect starting point for our city trip to York. A 15 minute walk by some fine architecture takes you to the heart of the city. Perfect for a family getaway. The connecting walls are a bit thin however, so you there is no ABSOLUTE silence when the neighbours are home.'

'Lovely welcome on arrival. Rooms were dark inside which was fine for us but could imagine it might be a problem for some. Vanity mirror with lights attached didnt work, and when reported (more to report that we didnt break it, rather than get it fixed) reception was uninterested. Brilliant shower - possibly the best ive used in a hotel. No coffee machine as described but there was a kettle. When we went to get a drink on the rooftop we were welcomed in but not told that last orders was imminent...
