The Tree House ligt in de buurt van de historische goudmijn (nu gok) steden Black Hawk en Central City, Colorado. Het is geen boomhut :-), maar je beklimt 16 trappen om je zitplaats op de 2e verdieping te bereiken. In dit mooie appartement (boven de opslagruimte op de eerste verdieping van de eigenaar) kijk je uit over de bomen naar de met sneeuw bedekte toppen vanaf je tweede verdieping. Het dek heeft een grill om buiten te koken. Prachtig design en voorzieningen!

De lichte woonkamer is een gezellige plek om te ontspannen, met een bank en een extra grote stoel en een openhaard op gas onder de HDTV. Er is maar één bed, dus als je een derde persoon hebt, slapen ze op de bank. Er zijn drie sets schuifdeuren naar het dek, zodat u kunt genieten van de frisse berglucht. De unieke eettafel is afkomstig van de boot van de eigenaar en kan worden neergeklapt om comfortabel plaats te bieden aan 3 of 4 personen. De keuken en een grote voorraadkast zijn volledig gevuld. De apparaten zijn op ware grootte behalve de 1/2 vaatwasser (perfect voor 2-3 personen).

Ga de slaapkamer van de koningin binnen via de schuifdeur. Gebruik de grote kast om al je spullen in op te bergen, zelfs voor een lang verblijf, en kijk naar een 2e tv. De badkamer grenst aan de woonkamer en beschikt over een wastafel, toilet en luxe betegelde douche. Je kunt hier een tijdje blijven, want er staat een mooie gestapelde wasmachine en droger klaar om je kleding te wassen na een wandeling.

Maak zelf wat fortuin en geschiedenis! Dit rustige toevluchtsoord ligt op slechts vijf minuten van de goksteden Black Hawk en Central City. Hier geniet je van gaming, entertainment, natuur en geschiedenis met een unieke western kick. Ontsnap dan naar uw eigen ruimte om te dromen hoe u uw winst kunt besteden! (We hopen, maar we kunnen het niet garanderen!) Voldoende gratis parkeergelegenheid en een gratis pendeldienst door de steden maken het echte westerse plezier en avontuur gemakkelijk. Je kunt het authentieke verleden van Colorado verkennen, genieten van buitenactiviteiten zoals wandelen of fietsen en restaurants en casino's van wereldklasse ervaren. Dit alles in een schilderachtige bergomgeving als geen ander. Deze steden hebben ook een assortiment aan musea, winkels en antiek en het Central City Opera House. Een van de beste operahuizen in Amerika (gebouwd in 1887), dit juweel staat open voor uitvoeringen in de zomer of het hele jaar door voor rondleidingen. Kom op voor een opera en maak er een romantisch uitje van in onze Treehouse!

Gilpin County Rec Center ligt twee minuten verderop met een groot overdekt zwembad, een waterspeeltuin voor kinderen en glijbanen, een indoor atletiekbaan, een volledige fitnessruimte, fitness en losse gewichten, en andere spellen, zoals tafeltennis. De toegang is slechts $ 5 per persoon.

Denver en Boulder liggen op slechts 45 minuten afstand en het eigenzinnige bergstadje Nederland, met zijn beroemde Carousel of Happiness, coffeeshops en restaurants, en het skigebied Eldora Mountain, ligt op 20 minuten rijden.

Er zijn letterlijk honderden kilometers aan wandel- en fietspaden waar je ook gaat en de eigenaar heeft kajaks die kunnen worden gehuurd voor $ 30 / dag / kajak (in het seizoen, en je moet ze naar het bruto-reservoir vervoeren om te kajakken). Als buiten verkennen niet uw ding is, ontspan dan in uw auto en geniet van een aantal schilderachtige autoritten in de buurt. Er is zoveel te doen in de omgeving voor een verblijf van 2 tot 20 nachten, en de Treehouse is de perfecte plek om naar huis te bellen terwijl je hier bent.






























Waar u op moet letten:

- De huiseigenaar woont in een groot huis direct achter de Tree House. STRIKT GEEN PARTIJEN.
- Niet roken (alles), geen huisdieren
- Er is heel weinig mobiele service in de buurt en geen kabel-tv. Het internet biedt streaming voor tv en wifi voor uw mobiele telefoon om verbinding mee te maken (als u een plan heeft).
- Er is GEEN AIRCONDITIONING. Het is niet nodig behalve een paar dagen per jaar. Niemand heeft het hier, zelfs geen gloednieuwe luxe huizen.
- Slechts één queensize bed; een derde persoon zou op de bank slapen.

Adorable home!

Loved how this apartment was designed and decorated! I’m short so I had to have my husband get dishes and glasses down for me. There is a stepladder but it’s easier to call him to the rescue. We were in town for a concert at Red Rocks which was only 30 minutes away. We did some great hiking in Blackhawk and drove to RMNP. If you’re planning to visit RMNP, it’s now timed entry so we had to leave the cabin at 6:30a to get to the park and through the line before 9. After that you need a timed entry pass. It was warmer than we were hoping and the apartment doesn’t have air conditioning. We’ve come across that before but it ended up being a little stuffy at times. Luckily there are three big sliders and fans to help. I cook almost every meal while on vacation and I wish there were more dishes. I travel with my must haves, but there weren't enough plates or knives so we washed dishes often. All in all the place was absolutely adorable and the decorations were perfect for the apartment. Bed was comfy, loved that there was a washer and dryer. Since it’s above a garage there are a lot of steps to get to the apartment. Other than lugging luggage and totes and grocery bags up it wasn’t an issue for us. We went into town and had some fun losing at the casinos. We had one little issue and it was resolved within an hour. Awesome communication from the host. Even though the main house is on the property we still felt like we had enough privacy.

Colorado Treehouse was Stellar!

What a spectacular property; well done! We stayed 5 nights and could not have asked for a better property for our Colorado vacation. The location was perfectly private while central to our points of interest, including St. Mary’s Glacier, Estes Park, Mt. Blue Sky, Golden, and Red Rocks. We spent every morning enjoying coffee on the beautiful deck with breathtaking Mountain View, evenings relaxing in the hot tub, and otherwise thoroughly loved and appreciated the comfortable, thoughtfully curated, and extremely tasteful accommodations and amenities. It’s only too bad we couldn’t just change our address and move in permanently. Love, love, love this little treehouse and will absolutely look to book again if we’re back in the area.

Quiet Getaway with Mountain Views!

We wanted a secluded quiet spot to enjoy mountain views and we got it! It was a nice spot to relax - very nicely decorated with everything we could possibly need. Also, centrally located to the various trails and mountains we wanted to get to - 1.5 hr to Rocky Mountain National Park, 45 mins to St Mary's Glacier and about that to Mount Blue Sky as well. Only 45 minutes into Golden, which is nice too.

Some noteworthy surprises/disappointments.

We were a little shocked when we arrived at the property by a few ways the pictures misrepresented the accommodations. 1.) There is a road right next to the hot tub, not sprawling and uninterrupted trees like the picture. It is a neighborhood road that doesn't have many cars traveling on it, but isn't very private. 2.) The hot tub is down stairs and not directly accessible from the upstairs mother-in-law's-like space. The pictures make it look like the hot tub will be right out the sliding door from the accommodation. 3.) The main house is right next to the accommodation, yet again it is not as private as the pictures make it look. It didn't seem like anyone was home, but we were surprised by the main house being right there! 4.) We expected robes, yet none were provided. Not deviations from the post, but things to note: 1.) There were dust bunnies under the furniture and even a few forgotten items from previous guests. It's a tiny place, so it was surprising that it wasn't very clean. 2.) There was very limited kitchen supplies. The 2 knives were dull and there were only 1 pot and 1 pan- not great for using the kitchenette. 3.) There were so many chemicals in the hot tub that it made my lady bits sting and itch. That has never happened before, and sucked! 4.) It's a drag to have to do our own laundry when leaving an accommodation. It makes sense to make it easier for the cleaners' timing but isn't classy. 5.) No good place to dine/ awkward tall table w/short chairs.

Great place to get away from the hustle and bustle

Cute place centrally located between a number of fun little towns. The hot tub was clean and enjoyable (note it is on the ground level and not on a balcony in case you care) I HIGHLY recommend the BBQ and craft beers at Busey Brews in Nederland, CO. The dry rub wings and brisket are amazing! Pretty view from the living area and balcony.

Honeymoon

We booked this property for our honeymoon; the photos showed a pretty view and a hot tub, and they were accurate. However, the location of the hot tub was super irritating. There was no way to access it unless you went downstairs, outside, across the driveway, and to the other side of the house (which is problematic when it is COLD). We also had issues with the solar lights not working, so it was incredibly dark. The photos also made the property look more secluded, but it really wasn’t secluded at all. The shower was incredibly difficult to turn on/off because the handle was attached too tightly, making it hard to get the water to the temperature desired. We also tried to use the humidifier in the pantry, as CO is very dry. However, it was filled with old water and was absolutely disgusting, so we opted to just do without. The amount of windows made the house get quite hot in the daytime, so I definitely recommend staying in the cooler months. The proximity to Nederland was very nice, as it’s such a cute, unique little city. Do note that there are very few food options near the treehouse, so plan accordingly. This place is not remotely accessible. If you’re not comfy with stairs, this is NOT the place for you. I injured my knee on a hike while we were there, and navigating the stairs was a nightmare. The entire living area is on the second floor, so keep that in mind. The binder could use some updating, as some of the instructions were unclear/outdated.

We had a wonderful stay! The listing was exactly as described! The hot tub was simply amazing! The kitchen and outside grill allowed us to make all of our meals there. The property is quiet and private. All of the amenities were great and thoughtful. We enjoyed the views from the deck and our entire stay was just perfect! Communication with the management team was easy and we got quick responses back. If we ever travel to this area in the future, we would book this little piece of heaven again! Beautiful, clean, tucked away home

Overall I give 5 stars because the host was wonderfully helpful. My husband and I stayed with our 11 month old and they made sure to bring a playpen before we checked in! The house was clean, beautiful linens and furniture. Small upstairs apt over a garage type space but you got to see a view of the sunrise in the morning and it was beautiful! We did come in August and made the mistake of not fully understanding how hot it would be. With this home not having any AC we had to make sure we were gone from 2-7ish each day. Which wasn’t a big deal except that most things are quite a drive away. We would have liked to have been able to bring our baby back for a nap or stay in the apt all day it was just simply too hot (81 inside). But that was our fault for not knowing these would be the few days a year it actually needs AC. All in all if you are looking to get far away tucked back into the mountains, this is such a beautiful place!

9 Year Anniversary Getaway

The Treehouse was a pleasant getaway and just what we needed for our anniversary. The Treehouse is nestled in a quiet area in the mountains and is nearby many trails. There are also other great nearby attractions like casinos, breweries, and restaurants. Our favorite part of the treehouse was relaxing in the hot tub most mornings and sitting on the deck with a fire at night. We will definitely be returning to the Treehouse in the future!

Wonderful location and rental

My husband and I rented this property for our honeymoon. The property manager was so kind to leave us a bottle of wine for our celebration. It was very clean, with modern furniture and appliances. Even supplied dishes, cooking ware, towels, and toiletries. The property manager was easy to get in contact with.

Perfectly Quaint Apartment

The rental was exactly as pictured and was very well kept. Clean, many conveniences supplied (laundry pods, cookware, coffee, bottled water, box fan, first aid kit, cool mist humidifier). We really enjoyed using the hot ton on a cooler evening, and having the mountain views in the distance while drinking our morning coffee. There were a few hot days during our stay, so the unit was a bit warm at times, but once you opened up the windows and sliding glass doors to get a cross breeze, it cooled off and was very very comfortable. The supplied box fan certainly helped with this as well since the unit doesn’t have AC. On the colder days during our visit, the gas fireplace was very enjoyable. The property was very conveniently located to a few small towns and only 1-1.5hr drives to Breckenridge, Denver, & Estes Park. All of which were beautiful drives. The rental owner & property management company were super responsive if/when needed and contacted. Overall this was an amazing stay and a wonderful rental. We would highly recommend.
