  • Er is geen betere manier om de glorie van de Blue Ridge Mountains echt te ervaren dan door in deze elegante hut aan de Creekside te verblijven. Creekside at High Rock is het perfecte voorbeeld van het allerbeste dat de Blue Ridge Mountain vakantieverblijven te bieden hebben. Creekside is een heel speciale (op 20 voet van de kreek gelegen) hut met 2 slaapkamers die plaats biedt aan maximaal 6 personen. U kunt comfortabel slapen met het geluid van stromend water in het kingsize bed, twee grote bedden of de koningin slaper. Voorzieningen zijn onder andere: rustgevend bubbelbad voor 4 personen, 3 HDTV's en een BLAUWE RAY-speler, een ruime, volledig uitgeruste keuken, een massieve hardhouten dekken met cederhouten schommelstoelen. Een houtkachel en buiten vuurkorven, gratis vuur hout is voorzien. Wandelpaden en de privacy van uw eigen kreek zijn slechts voetstappen verwijderd van het huis! Dit is een berghut die luxe op een bergtop naar een nieuwe top brengt!

If you are looking for a very Zen retreat that is remote yet conveniently located, this is the most tranquil spot. We loved it!

The cabin was outstanding. Very quiet and private but had all the amenities. Beautiful scenery and only around 15 minutes to Black Mountain. Would definitely recommend.

Everything about the cabin was great. The road to the cabin was painful to drive due to all the bumps and work vehicles blocking the road. We expected some of this due the recovery efforts from the storm -- and the landlord was up front it was being worked on.

We absolutely loved it! We have stayed in a cabin for a week every year and this was the first year my kids were happy to spend 2 days just relaxing at the cabin! Will rent again!

Excellent property with awesome host!

My wife and I stayed here for her bday weekend. For the first time ever, we only left to go to the store! The cabin has an awesome location right next to the river and Mike and his wife are excellent hosts!

Beautiful cabin near Blacl Mountain

We stayed in this cabin for a few Day during a trip to drop off a kid at summer camp. So relaxing and beautiful here, what a wonderful stream and great layout. Will definitely visit the site again.

Extreme relaxation

Perfect site! Creek sounds will put you to sleep. Near lots of fun hiking areas. Our teenager loved it also. Really good food available in downtown Black Mountain. It’s a must see place and we will definitely be back!

Creekside weekend getaway

We enjoyed "unplugging" for a weekend at Creekside. The house was stocked with everything you need, and the owner was very responsive to questions. The house setting on the creek was amazing, the pictures do not do it justice. We would love to stay again.

Perfect Mountain Retreat

This cabin was wonderful. We stay in VRBO rentals several times a year. This place was the BEST! The owner thought of everything. We loved that the cabin felt remote, but was close to town. The sounds of the creek were so relaxing. We definitely plan to return.

BRAMY’s October getaway

Lovely, well maintained property. With no children to entertain, only our pups, and some pretty great weather, we were able to enjoy the property and the trails and the town. Fire pit, hot tub, grill, all got put to good use. House had everything we needed and being able to bring the dogs was a huge bonus.

A Little Bit of Heaven

Mike was a great host and the location made us seem in the middle of nowhere and yest we were close to Black Mountain and other great towns and hikes. I highly recommend Mike and all of his properties. Thank you Mike

Nice rental property

Rental property was as described. The creek is very relaxing and the house is comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. We were surprised that the departure instructions required us to strip the beds, wash and put away the dishes, and wash the towels and put in the dryer, since there was a normal cleaning fee.

A very idyllic setting with everything you could need for a fun mountain trip while still being close to town. My only actual feedback is that there are no blinds anywhere in the house except the bathrooms. The bedroom has them too but they’re sheer so you’re waking up with the sunrise. This is obviously great during the day, you can take in the view but at night it would be nice to not feel so on display. Also, there are communal amenities on the property (which is fine) but with no blinds you can run into situations like we did, where a family taking the trail had kids just run up to our cabin and start looking inside. Not a fault of really anyone but good to keep in mind if you’re wanting a more private stay.

Great cabin

Really enjoyed this cabin. It was very clean when we arrived and was exactly as described. The creek and fire pit really offered some great options to get outside and enjoy the property. It was maybe 10 or 15 minutes from downtown Black Mountain, and we really enjoyed it, and we were glad we could bring our little dog with us. It was far enough away from town that we felt sort of isolated, which we like, even with other properties around us, but was close enough to town that it wasn't an inconvenience to drive to the grocery store when we forgot something. Would stay here again.

Quiet by the Creek

Property was well maintained and the Cabin just as nice. Beautiful and well made cabin with all the amenities (in working condition) and for once a clean hot tub. Even after a long hot hike in Pisgah or along the BRP, relaxing in the hot tub was a great way to take in the outdoor and frolicking creek. Black Mtn is neat little town and has everything you need without visiting downtown Asheville. Lastly, it was a pleasure to meet the host Mike out on the mountain road working hard and I could tell he takes pride in these properties. Very responsive as well. Truly a great place to detach and enjoy the outdoors.

Black Mountain Creekside

Although the checkin process was delayed due to the previous guests who trashed the cabin, once inside it was perfect! The cabin and grounds were spotless. The creek was gorgeous and we loved being beside it. The location to Black Mountain was close and we loved it’srestaurants and shops. This was a much needed getaway for personal reasons and it couldn’t have been better. Mike, the manager, was most helpful. The only downfall is the rough road getting to the property. Other than that, we couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

Great Secluded Cabin

We rented this place to be away from everyone and couldn’t have picked a better location! The creek running next to the Cabin had you hearing running water while in the hot tub or enjoying a cup of coffee on the deck. The rooms were exactly what we needed and the wood stove kept the house warm and smelling like a fire the whole weekend. Also, We ran into an issue with the hot tub and Mike (owner) was there within minutes to fix the issue. Wifi worked great, satellite TV worked fine with no issues. Can’t thank Mike enough for letting us book. Great getaway for 2-5 people!

Fantastic Mountain Getaway for Our 20th Anniversary

This was the perfect mountain getaway for our 20th anniversary. The running creek was so relaxing. We loved having the hammock right next to the creek to relax in. We spent a lot of our time on the deck watching the hummingbirds at the feeder. The cabin itself was very clean and well stocked for our needs. If you aren't used to driving up and down mountains you may be a little intimated by the drive to get to the cabin but it really isn't that bad. We are not big fans of the check out rule to wash, dry and put away towels that were used. We like to shower before we leave and felt very rushed the morning of checkout to get up early to get ready and do the laundry. Also, the way the rule reads in the book almost makes it sound like it is ok to just put the towels in the dryer if you are running low on time. That is certainly not what the owner means but if you didn't read it closely someone could misunderstand it. Other than that this cabin was PERFECT and we had a wonderful time. A very short drive into Black Mountain! Make sure to stop in town at My Father's Pizza! It was delicious!
