Bigfoot country
Had a great few days going to the Marion NC Bigfoot Festival. Cabin was a jewel in the woods. A lovely stream flows past property with such a peaceful setting. Enjoyed a comfortable clean and very well equipped home. The back porch is perfect place to grill and relax with morning coffee. Everything you’ll need for a mountain get away. Only hiccup is as check in. Not host fault or ours—- Vrbo software had messed up our phone number. Corrected after a few extra miles driving to get better cell reception nearby. WiFi worked great once we figured it out.

Beautiful, quaint cabin located in the middle of all the fun!
My husband and I stayed here for a week with our small terrier; it truly felt like our little home in the woods. We fell asleep to the sound of the creek behind the cabin, and enjoyed waking up to the birds and wind in the trees. The property is phenomenal; it exceeded our expectations in every way! The photos don’t do it justice. Everything was well stocked and we didn’t run into any issues. It truly was so comfortable; our favorite spots were the rocking chairs on the porch and the swing out back. The best part is the location; it is central to everything! We spent most of our time in Black Mountain, but also did a lot in Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, and Asheville. This area of NC is stunning; it’s teaming with wildlife, kind people, art, music, and delicious food. What’s nice is everywhere is kid and dog-friendly. This was the best VRBO stay we’ve had; I can’t say enough good things about Tony and Maria. Their communication was excellent, and the cabin was sparkling when we got there. Truly great hosts!

Wonderfully relaxing stay with all the comforts of home. Biggest decision was whether to sit on the rocking chairs on the front porch or the swing on the back porch. Relaxing to the sounds of the stream running along side the house was just what we needed.

We spent 4 nights in the cabin. It appears as advertised. One bedroom was just perfect for myself, my wife and the dog. Anyone more than that and I think it would feel crowded. Nice place definitely worth the trip

We had a wonderful stay at Creekside cabin! We were able to enjoy the peacefulness of the creek flowing beside the cabin. Close to everything but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of town. The cabin was perfectly described and accommodating. Very easy road to the cabin and easy check in process.

Lovely Cabin!
We had a great stay at this cabin. We came to relax and have some quiet and it was perfect. It is well insulated, the temps got down in the single digits and the cabin stayed warm. The cell service (Verizon) and wifi worked perfectly. I would recommend stopping and getting groceries on your way in. Also our GPS took us to someone's house, but the road was right past it, so just look for the street sign if yours does the same. We didn't venture out, but there are lots of things to do nearby.

Great getaway
Wonderful stay and plan to return. Home was very clean. Great open kitchen plan and stocked well with all your cooking needs. Excellent directions to the home, check in and internet. Simi private comment earlier meaning there is one home up the hill and a couple you pass before arrival. I still give this secluded property. Note, highly recommend printing directions before leaving home due to cell service before arriving. Short drive to Chimney Rock. Have your groceries and vehicle filled before arriving due to limited availability in the area.

New Years 2024 at Creek-Side Cottage
Welcome to clam. This cabin is nestled ever so lightly in the woods but so close to the creek that you can listen to its flow. We welcomed 2024 by scheduling a long weekend away. We visited Black Mountain as well as spending a day at The Biltmore. We also drove over to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock while enjoying the decorations of the holidays. We spent a cozy New Years eve at the cabin and enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen. This has been one of our finest stays as travelers.

Quite, remote, and comfortable
Tony and Maria were great hosts. This cabin is out of the way and was just what we were looking for to enjoy a quiet weekend away. It is small but with plenty of room. It is close enough (20 minutes or so) to Black Mountain, Chimney Rock, Asheville and Hendersonville and yet not in middle of a neighborhood. We enjoyed a nice bon fire, the quite of the woods, and a warm and very comfortable bed to sleep in. We would highly recommend this property and very well may book it again.

Fall Vacation
We love to come to the mountains this time of the year. Love all the colors on the trees and the smell of fall. Lots of pumpkins at farms. Enjoyed downtown Black Mountain but always enjoy Hendersonville more. Was able to enjoy lunch downtown Hendersonville and get shopping done. Our cabin was well equipped. Got to see a black bear of course from a distance 😊. Thank you Tony and Maria for letting us stay at your cabin. My puppies loved the cold weather!!!

The property was very clean and tastefully decorated. The bed was also very comfy! We enjoyed chasing waterfalls, which is something my husband and I love to do. Seeing the town of Black Mountain and Chimney Rock Village, along with Lake Lure. Perfect timing with the change of the leaves. Thanks to the Pitas for letting us enjoy their little cabin!

Great cabin
My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in October and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was a great home base for visiting the Biltmore and the Carl Sandburg farm. We were there during apple season and enjoyed visiting the produce stands along the road. The kitchen is well equipped to cook a meal. The bed is comfortable and there were plenty of towels and linens, as well as a new washer/dryer set. Our favorite thing was the electric fireplace which made the cabin very cozy. Would recommend this cabin!

The house was very clean when we got there. The kitchen was very well equipped pots, pans, dishes and silverware. There plenty of towels in the bathroom. It's very private but not isolated. Cabin in the woods
Nice little cabin in the woods not far away from main road. Convenient to several mountain towns, the winding roads are beautiful to travel. If you want to use fire pit make sure you take some wood up with you as well as charcoal for the grill if planning to do some outdoor cooking. Overall it’s a really cute cabin.

Great stay!
Great cabin that is quiet, private and peaceful. Cabin is stocked with everything you could possibly need and things you wouldn’t expect like the dog food in the event you forget to pack some. Very clean and well maintained. Roads in the area are curvy but take your time and your fine. Great screened in porch! Best cabin we’ve stayed in so far. Thanks for allowing us to stay during our trip! We hope to return soon.

This very clean cozy cottage is nestled in the woods beside a babbling creek.The cottage is very well stocked with all the comforts of home.The location is perfect for going to Chimney Rock State Park, Lake Lure,Black Mountain. Beautiful spot to get away
The accommodations were perfect for two. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped. My husband and I chose this area because it was within easy driving distance to several areas we wanted to visit - Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, and Asheville. The only complaint I have is that it wasn’t always easy to get directions or information about places to eat/visit via Internet because the wifi wasn’t reliable. I feel like that is just a hazard of the area though. We survived. Thank you for sharing your VRBO with us.

One of the things struck us from the very beginning was that the pictures were very indicative of the actual condition and layout of the property. It was beautifully outfitted and furnished and an incredibly welcoming place to stay. The screened porch on the back was, in a word, incredible. Our communications with the host were wonderful and very clear. A++ host and property!

Amazing property
As we began our search for a VRBO property, we knew we wanted a quiet & quant, well kept property with specifically a king size bed including the bathroom on the same level plus we could bring our 15# fur baby with us. Creekside Cabin checked off all of these boxes along with the fact it was within either a short to a reasonable distance of Lake Lure, Chimney Rock, Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway and multiple other fun towns to see/visit. Upon arriving we were thrilled to find this cabin to be very clean, attractively decorated and the kitchen was more equipped then any VRBO (including a food grade scale if you might need one) we’ve ever stayed at before! As retired Innkeepers of a Select Registry property, by nature, we look for “what else could the properties owners add for their guests comfort?” Tony & Maria have thought of everything as they are renovating this sweet cabin!

Exceptional in every way!
This is a beautiful property! Extremely quiet and the sounds of the running stream was so relaxing. The kitchen was stocked with all necessities for cooking a great meal. Also there was a grill outside on deck that cooks a great steak or whatever you prefer! So anyone looking for a CLEAN and COMFY place to relax and enjoy some down time then this is the property for you! The owners Tony and Maria were so nice to work with and were very quick to answer any questions I had. There was only one downside……I did not want to leave!!!! Lol. But the real world and job…….beckoned to me from afar. Errrrrrr please check this out as it is also close to beautiful Lake Lure!

Finding the property was pretty easy and as described. Checking in was a breeze and once inside everything we needed was there and self explanatory such as linens, kitchen supplies and how to use the WiFi and tv. Pictures of cabin online are very accurate, but what you don't see is the number of movies that are there for evening or a rainy day. You don't see how well stocked the kitchen is. More pots and pans and small appliances than I have at home! I can see during warmer weather how great the screened in porch and swing would be to relax on. We would definitely stay again!

Wonderful, Relaxing Retreat
We have been traveling to NC for years, we have rented multiple cabins in various areas and this has been the most comfortable one we have stayed in. The cottage was spotless, with all the amenities you need for your stay and privacy. We loved the fire pit and the babbling creek that lulled us to sleep at night. It's a relatively short ride to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock only 25 mins to Ashville so day trips were easy and fun. We have already recommended it to our friends and family.
