'The Acorn is a really clean, safe motel with the most kind and professional owners/staff! Our whole stay was wonderful, from how comfy the beds are and how clean the room was, to how kind and helpful the owners were to accommodate us! I would 100% recommend this motel to single travelers, couples, or families looking for a safe, cozy, and clean place to stay that is also a great value!'

'Bar/restaurant was closed for renovations but that was totally fine because so many awesome places to go that are walkable. Staff was so friendly and we felt well cared for. The fireplace and communal spots were a nice way to unwind and meet others that were traveling. '

'Great location and amenities. Loved the cafe/bar and snacks and toiletries provided. Black Mountain was great for local shopping and restaurants. We stayed in the attic with 2 bedrooms and it was a beautiful big space. The only suggested improvement is more comfortable couch and mattress. Would definitely stay here again.'
