The Cedars Country Cottage, 3 mijl ten noord-westen van Blanding op het reservoir weg, is de perfecte mix van comfort en eenzaamheid! Met overdekte veranda, 2 ligbaden, badkuip, tv, dvd, WIFI, volledig ingerichte keuken, eettafel, alle linnengoed, wasmachine en droger! Slaapplaatsen 7+ mensen met inbegrip van de sofa in de woonkamer.
Een uniek vakantiehuis, alleen gelegen in een cederbos met een uitzicht van 360 graden in alle richtingen. Ontspan op het terras in de zon of in de schaduw. De Cedars Cottage heeft een manier om je extreem afgezonderd te voelen, terwijl in de buurt het populairste meer in San Juan County ligt - ideaal om te zwemmen, vissen, varen en watersporten! In de buurt liggen ook 2 reservoirs vol met vis voor de visserij. Lake Powell - Halls Crossing Marina is slechts 80 minuten reistijd.
Binnenin vindt u veel meer ruimte dan u had verwacht - met gewelfde plafonds, 3 slaapkamers, 2 badkamers, een volledige keuken, een zeer ruime woonkamer met surround sound-tv, geniet van uw favoriete shows met twee Roku-apparaten en gezellige banken!

De woonkamer heeft ook een volledige bank en love seat.
Alle linnengoed (handdoeken, lakens, dekens, kussens, enz.) Worden verstrekt voor u. De keuken is ook gevuld met koken en serveren gebruiksvoorwerpen - alles wat je te brengen is het eten en specerijen!
WIFI en digitale tv en een dvd worden geleverd zonder extra kosten - dat is natuurlijk als je ooit vervelen genoeg om ze te gebruiken. Je zult veel te druk zijn met het verkennen van de populaire nationale parken en monumenten in het zuidoosten van Utah - dat klopt, de Cedars Cottage is centraal gelegen tussen meer dan een dozijn van hen!

Beautiful house in great location

The house was absolutely great. When we arrived, a deer with two young was grazing in the garden, what a great start. After entering the house, all was absolutely great. The place has everything you need, and is in excellent condition. All little things are thought of and provided for. The hosts are incredibly quick to answer any questions you have. The Blanding town (dry town, by the way) is closeby and has all the basic needs. Perfect location to do all the tourist things ! Loved it !

Stay in Blanding

This was a perfect spot to launch our Southeast Utah adventure. I was a little nervous about cooking with the swamp cooler, but it worked out just fine. Home had everything we needed to have a great time with our three children. Master shower was fantastic with duel shower heads and was perfect after a long day of dusty hiking and being outside. This was a great stay

Desert trip with Grandma and Grandpa.

The cottage was exactly what we were looking for. There is enough room to have some space to yourself and great places to be together. A highlight was watching my grandson and his Grandpa make dinner together in the kitchen. They had ample room to work together. Sitting outside in the morning drinking coffee with the turkeys, the jack rabbit and the birds was just what my soul needed. We will be back.

Great secluded cabin with beautiful views!

We loved our stay at this sweet cabin tucked in the cedars! Even though it is quite close to town, we felt like the location was very private. The star gazing was incredible! The beds were comfy! The heated tile floors and shower in the master bath were a special treat! Communication with our hosts was great!

Nice Getaway from the Heat

Great, quiet location for unwinding. It would have been good to stay another night, but we needed to keep going. Rooms were reasonably sized and beds were comfortable. The house had everything we needed. We dinged it for cleanliness for three reasons: 1) dust on the kitchen counters, 2) left-over plastic fruit container on the fireplace, and 3) towels left in the dryer. We were somewhat confused by getting texts from different people asking about our check-in status, arrival, and number in our party. A single point of contact would have been better. The heating/cooling setup is complicated. And it probably didn't help that we were there when days were warm/hot and nights still cool. But we managed. Lastly, the list of restaurants provided by the owner should include Gustavos in Monticello. It was excellent.

Quiet and comfortable

We spent six nights in this marvelous cottage as our base during a recent visit to Utah. The bed we slept on after a long day of hiking was super comfortable and the heated tile floors after a morning shower were wonderful. The beautiful quilt on the bed was much admired and appreciated! We mostly did our own cooking and the kitchen had everything we needed including a cupboard of spices. The cottage is close to Mule Canyon, Bears Ears and National Bridges Monument, communication with our host Preston was very good, and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great out of town property

This was just outside of town, which gave it a nice country feel, but yet was very convenient to the area attractions. I loved the binder with suggested destinations, and we actually changed out itenerary based on our find there. House was huge, well equipped, and comfortable.

This place has it all

Nice, clean, well-stocked, cottage. Great location for exploring Bears Ears Monument, Natural Bridges, etc. Wonderful host. Even a fire pit for roasting marshmallows! We loved it!

Third Wonderful Visit

Our third stay at the Cedars Cottage was as comfortable, quiet, and convenient as the previous two visits (see my earlier reviews). This lodging has everything needed for a couple or a family. And the location is perfect for exploring Cedar Mesa--be sure to visit the Tourist Info Center for great suggestions about where to go and don't miss the Edge of the Cedars Museum, well curated and filled with a variety of interesting and relevant exhibits. Restaurants in Blanding were underwhelming, but the Cedar Shack in Bluff had excellent pizza. Thanks for making your beautiful, comfortable home available for others to enjoy. We hope to return!

Love It Here!

Very nice place with nice extras

The cottage was very pleasant. It is away from other properties and has a lot of extras that makes the stay nicer. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen has lots of extras that makes cooking easier. Make sure that you take advantage of the binder of information about the area. We visited with the intent of hiking in Bears Ears and Natural Bridges. The binder really helped to find hikes and other activities. Only issue was our check instructions did not come until a few hours before check in. It would have been nicer to receive it the day before. Outside of this minor issue, everything else was perfect!

Perfect location for visiting Bears Ears

Spent a week hiking in Bears Ears and Canyonlands Needles. This rental was in the perfect location for both. After a long day of hiking and exploring it felt like home walking through the front door. Clean, comfy and cozy. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Great home in a great location!

I highly recommend The Cedars! The home is conveniently located to Canyonlands, Natural Bridges, Monument Valley, and many more parks. The views of the mountains from the property are stunning. The location is very quiet, and the town of Blanding is only a few minutes drive away. Inside, everything was clean and well stocked. Having the heated floor in the winter was wonderful! The owners provided lots of suggestions about what to see in the area, and their communication was great for the whole stay. Cell reception on the property was fine too. If visiting in the winter I found it helpful to have 4WD as the driveway is quite steep and it does snow. But the owners will also come by and plow if needed. Overall it was a great stay and it was hard to leave!

Perfect home

This lovely home is located near the oldest National Monument in the US: Natural Bridges, which we would have missed if not suggested by the host. The kitchen is outfitted with everything you need. The whole house was clean and cared for. The most pleasant surprise during the winter chill was the heated bathroom floor! Thank you to the hosts for being so responsive.
