'Definitely the staff & owner who were so accommodating. The place turned out fantastic for our 2 weeks of stay. Morning was so peaceful and surreal as the Wilderbeests & Zebras wondering next to our table. Overall, it was the staff that made all the difference. '

'If you're looking for modern conveniences like air conditioning, wifi, great service, and nice rooms, this is Blantyre's best hotel by far. The staff was incredible - it made me realize that Malawi can have a real five star tourism industry if it wants to. 'Large room, new furniture. Bathroom fully functional, but outdated. Balcony with view over lush garden and pool. Historic building. Nice and helpful staff. Excellent dinner, Indian, but also steak and other standards at highish prices. Large choice of breakfast options, but nothing special here. Nice bakery in the house. Will come again. '
