Kasteel hotel, geen lift. Ruime kamer
We verbleven daar en er was een feest. Daar hebben we niets van gehoord. Mooie ruime kamer, maar uitkijkend op een plat dak, waar later op de avond kinderen liepen te spelen. Konden er via de nooduitgang opkomen. Na een klacht werden ze verwijderd. Omde hoek bij een uitstekend Italiaans restaurant gegeten. Aanbevelenswaardig!

Voor herhaling vatbaar.
Het is een gezellig hotel, heerlijk ontbijt geserveerd door aardige mensen. De kamer en bedden waren goed. Het enige minpuntje was: een liveband in de bar van het hotel recht onder ons. Een minpunt omdat we van tevoren niet geïnformeerd waren en geen keuze hadden.

I loved our stay at The Blarney Castle, it could not have been nicer. Ian, Jillian and the entire staff were wonderful. We have traveled all over the world and I have to say that this is one of the top places we have stayed. It was perfect!

Tokenistic covid care.
It's actually a lovely hotel, but their covid duty of care was extremely sloppy, merely tokenistic at best. We actually had to ask one of the owners to wear their mask while serving guests. But the worst was one of their staff was coughing and spluttering around the breakfast room without a mask. Avoid, avoid, avoid!!!!

Many thanks for taking the time to post a review of your recent stay . Please note that all our covid duty of care is up to date and just to clarify ALL members of staff were wearing masks. Yes one staff member did cough twice while on duty however she was wearing a mask. Thankfully all of our guests enjoyed their stay with us and have booked return visits. We will be delighted to see them return

Absolutely gorgeous hotel, the staff were excellent! Everything was so clean, freshly renovated and done with such good taste. A lovely blonde lady that showed us to our room looked after us so well, there was really no more she could have done The barman Brian was brilliant as well, we had the television in front of the bar and I never had to even ask for a drink even though they were so so busy

Such a quaint little hotel, with a friendly staff and clean, updated amenities! The receptionist went out of her way to give my wife and I local suggestions for food and sites to see. At night we enjoyed traditional Irish music in the hotel's very cool pub!

Perfect place to stay in Blarney. This was our favourite part of our trip to Ireland. Lots of locals in the pub and great fun. Blarney castle is right across the street.

Very friendly staff we arrieved late sfter an emergency the restaurant was closed but the lady at reception made sandwiches and tea for us .We said we may have to cancel our second night there wouldnt have been a problem Excelled in customer service

The staff there give amazing service from check-in to check-out they are delightful, helpful and curtious. Upon check-out they were very helpful with offering up places to visit around Killarney.

What a classic property. Right by the Blarney Castle. Staff was excellent. Old world pub and restaurant with excellent local music on Tuesday evening.(Just happened to be the day we checked in). Shower was a little snug due to a grab bar in a really bad spot. Hard to stand in shower and not be leaning on bar and touching curtain on other side. Other than that, the best area in Ireland.

The staff are very kind and helpful. The food in their pub and restaurant is amazing. The hotel is a very short walk to the castle. Our room was large, very comfortable, attractive and functional.

Let me start off with the good of this property. It was in a great location to go to the Blarney Castle and they let us leave the rental car there while we visited the castle. The food was great. However, the room was not clean and the heat did not work. Specifically, there was a lot mold on the shower walls and I had to try to wash off the mold from the shower curtain in the tub before trying to use it. We asked to move rooms but were denied. They did bring in a space heater to the room which made the no heat a little better but we did not want to run the space heater all night while we were sleeping. While traveling in Ireland we stayed at several hotels and all were in the same price of each other, so I can say for the same price you can find MUCH better.

Dear Annoymous, Many thanks for your review. If you had an issue with your room we would have been delighted to offer you another room which no time during your stay did you ask this. If the room was cold we would have no issue turning on the heat upon your arrival to the hotel . If you wished to have the heater on during the night you should have left it on. The owners and staff are awesome. They are very friendly and accommodating. The hotel has an at home old European feel. I recommend this place to anyone wishing to stay near the Blarney Castle.

The staff was amazing and so personable. Our room was above the bar so it was a little loud while trying to go to sleep, but other than that, very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. I can’t say enough about the staff, so welcoming and helpful. We loved our stay at the Blarney Castle Inn.

A Great Stay
Perfect location for access to the castle. Rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Pub was fun and comfortable. Ate dinner in the bar, and we were both very pleased with the quality of the food. Breakfast was very tasty. Owners actively involved in the day-to-day, and seemed very eager to accommodate any needs or requests we had. We'd return in a heartbeat.

HORRIBLE and VERY RUDE owner! DIRTY and NOISY rooms above pub! Owner asked if we (2 parties for 2 rooms) had reservations saying he had no rooms. We show him confirmed reservations then he opens his "book" to notice our names! Obvious he didn't want us there (RACE DISCRIMINATION by SE Asian owner!). He wrote down out CC # including the PIN # from back! Be WARNED as photos are not like the room! AVOID!!!!

The ONLY thing I did not like was the bed and bedding. Flat hard pillows, uncomfortable bed with heavy blanket and no top sheet. Otherwise, the staff and location were excellent. We loved the pub downstairs, had one of our funnest nights in Ireland while there. Live music was excellent, We Met Mags McCarthy. The Blarney Castle entrance is across the square. Lovely park across the street. The breakfast was delish.

Many thanks for your response. However at any times guests prefer sheets rather than our goose feathered duvets we are more than willing to accommodate this. If at any time a guest would prefer different pillows again we would organise for more pillows for guests. If the guests at any time let us know there needs we are more than willing to accommodate them.

Quaint old residence that was very well kept up. The decor was very nicely done. People were very friendly and helpful. Loved staying there. Wish we had more time to spend there in the area. Also it was right across from the castle which was a very pleasant day excursion around the grounds.

For an authentic Irish cultural village experience, this was the hotel to stay! The staff was friendly and extremely accommodating. A major plus was it's proximity to the Blarney Castle - a short 1 block walk to the entrance. And, the hotel has it's own restaurant/pub or a short one block walk down the street for other pubs and restaurants.
